The mind is everything. Every religion knows this is the truth at the end of the day. This deterministic physical explanation of the reality we live in is a new thing in the past 300 years and even early scientists believed in the metaphysical as well. He's right that we should have skepticism as well but I'd like to see this experiment continued.

How does this work as when you blast off on DMT you're pretty much unconcious for 10 mins! How can you open your eyes to view the laser when your flying through the universe? Can anyone answer this question?

It’s clearly a hallucination, people just want to find some meaning and feel important and apart of something. Not surprising at all that we have similar experiences when taking a drug, it’s not like we’ve evolved as a species together for millions of years or anything.

I mean, not everyone, at all. Many people have been very sceptical right from the get-go due to exactly the reasons Hamilton describes. It's kinda the most obvious criticism & sceptical take one could have.

I’ve seen the code before but it wasn’t on DMT or even with lasers. This was before I had watched the video of said experience. I was in deep meditation at my sleeping computer and had a candle lit. I finished up with the meditation and I was seeing the code surrounding the candle light in the black screen of the computer. Tried writing it down but it disappeared too quickly.

It may be an interesting experiment to try and shine a laser the same way into a scrying mirror, enter a deep meditation and slightly open the eyes peeking through the slit of the eye lids.

Did he tell them what to expect? It may be suggestion.
There is a tales from the trip where one guy saw something, didn't tell his friend, dosed him, and his friend was not seeing what he saw, but they were telling him to tell the other guy hello. 😂

I'm eating shrooms and see the cirrus clouds waaay up in the sky, and they're pixelated, with what seems to be "tails" that come all the way down to me, and when I grab them and move them the cirrus cloud seems to visibly move.

Maybe that IS a hallucination, but at the same time I get the message that the "sky" isn't some zone thousands of feet up, but that it comes all the way yo the ground.
A bug flying 20 inches in the air is "in the sky" to an ant, but not to me. That didn't seem logical, which led me to think about the sky coming down all the way to the ground and that the "sky" is a matter of perspective.

I also saw my own body kinda phase out to look like an Amoeba. In a way, that's another hallucination. In reality, my skin IS a bunch of cells packed together and not really a solid sheet.

So while these hallucinations can be dismissed because someone is "high" I think there is some merit to them because you're just looking at stuff through a different lens - but who is to say that perspective is a lie?
