the game was already in decline before overpowered, lil by lil there adding breaking points for more and more players. yeah they might be benfiting the so called spenders, but those spenders who bash on ftp are super ignorant, oh yeah bash on ftp and when you guys are the only ones left and theres no player base, the only difference is, sad to say, there thousands of dollars deep in the hole while ftp enjoyed they free weekend at bernies.

oh yeah what a super cool game for the only top 1% who can play it.

They should make a legit game for everyone where spending is a bonus and not a must, but the idea already way checked the F out a long time ago. lol

I left Raids Shadow Legends because I had no legends, and character availability sucked. I love both Marvel Strike Force and Honkai Star Rail because they both give most, if not all, characters relatively easily and freely. Honkai still does.

I've been gone for over a year. This popped up on my feed. Same rants apparently...learn a lession humans, the games dead

Yeah, my alliance lost alot of peoples the last few months and it's nearly impossible to fill it up again. Potential joiners/mergers always ignore my communication with them and it's been weeks since someone joined even though i contact around 50 peoples/10 alliances daily

Overpower is a garbage system

As a pass buyer, i don't even feel anything in this game is for me anymore. Im an alliance leader and am hemorrhaging players, curremtly down 3. When we get to a point, a merger becomes necessary, im out.

Raid shadow legends just dropped another hard mode for PVE content. Why can’t Marvel strike force do this?

I think the tipping point for me will either be the store currency conversion depending on just how bad it is, or Danger Room if it ends up being garbage. If one of those two things is bad enough, that will be it. I've been playing since I think 3 weeks after launch, lived through the alliance snap back in the day etc.

I have played this game for about 6 months. Don't really know what Im doing. Just end up building all the squads and leveling up as many squads as possible. Don't really get any of the battles, just press the buttons and try kill healing characters first. I really don't see what skill is required in this game?

CMDeez permaband here, f2p for 7yrs, I leveled from th bottom of my roster up all these years, invested in every champ, I have almost all except th last 4 mythics, bout to get knull soon woot, all champs lvl 81-85, most maxed star & diamond, all blue iso, g15+,,,I hardly play anymore, it's jus sim & claim, if it wasn't for my little global community tht grew with me, many are still there, & my alliance ,,,anyways I'm following you & valley to raids, it's been a fun ride while it lasted with scopes, im still here tho, leader of S-IDK & my 18 to 23 loyal members, game on bruda🫡

The stupid thing is that they said they brought in overpowered because they couldn't keep up with meaningful stat progression in the highest gear tiers and levels because the power level numbers are getting too high... so why don't they just change how the power level number is calculated?

Or if they want to do overpowered.. why don't they make leveling characters (maybe even characters older than 2 years) up to level 75 cost no gold or training materials? There are enough bottlenecks with getting gear, yellow and red stars, diamonds, T4s, etc. We need some of the resource bottlenecks to be reduced if overpowered is remotely playable.

I've been playing for over 6 years. Mostly collecting characters but somehow built a power level of over 48 million by logging in daily. But is MSF fun? Not sure, make the donuts and get what I can. But not a penny to Scopely ever again, not since June 2020.

As long as there are monkeys burning their money on this game things wont change. But some gamers seem to be stupid to not understand. Or they dont care which is even more concerning.

I am playing now over 7 years. Back in the day when people asked me how the hell I got rocket racoon.

So sad how the game has changed the last 3 years.

So much potential and then these idiots run this game liek it was a tiny family shop on the corner of the street.

Yet it is a huge IP woth massive potential. Disney and marvel responsibles shoud fire these nobheads asap...

It's more than overpowered, that is the issue. The fact that there are new character in new teams, making teams that are not even a year old, almost obsolete is insane. The new characters come in 3 and attached to 2 old characters that no one built, so you're forced to build up constantly or be left behind. The economy is horrible unless you're a veteran player that hoarded gold and training mats. Otherwise, you're running on fumes where you feel like you need to spend, not to win, but just to participate in events built where the good rewards are only given to spending players. Why pretend these events are free to play when they are not. If you don't spend, you get mats that you already have 10s of thousands already and the only way to get shards or G20 mats is to spend. At this point ask for a monthly fee and open the game up. Otherwise, you'll get what most of F2P game out there. A small community of heavy spenders and new players that will stay a bit and then leave once they realise what is going on.
Also, the economy is out of whack, both in game and out of game. I think it's something like 36M gold to bring a new character from 1 to 105. How can you get that kind of free gold every week since there are new characters every week. And in their store. They are asking 80$ for one set to improve one piece of equipment to G20. Since we only get a small amount of G20 mats daily and randomly (most being useless since city is the 1st to build for professor X. They expect people to bring the 3 new vigilante for it, so that is 720$ to bring them to G20 and 108M gold. So players like me that have been playing for months only, cannot keep up or thrive as a F2P and the investment is stupid to purchase. We are left with 2 options, leave or only play casually until we no longer play. I'm in the process of finalising that decision and see more and more disengagement within alliances.

Scopely risks losing it all for greed. Even for huge spenders, there has to be a limit as well.

I played 3 years every day, but retired my account last week. Alot of my alliance also quit the game, it is a shame but it has become such a boring game its crazy.
New character every week, huge roster but are forced to only use the newest teams. 90% of the roster are pointless.
Unlocking new characters through events used to be fun and have a sense of achievement, now its just gain cores open orbs. Such a boring game it deserves so much more but scopely have completely lost their way through greed.

I feel like the only way they could build a good game that doesn’t cater to spenders only, they would have to be built and administered by a private company, where the owner is just happy to make a decent amount of money, but not an ever growing amount of money, like investors are always pushing public companies to do. Someone with lots of money just has to come in and be happy to create an environment where yeah spending is allowed, even encouraged, but prices are kept decent, and it’s not just constantly pushing more and more spending.

been playing since 2018. Game has changed so much. its just a cash grab now. I never pay for anything other than the montly pass. its not worth it to pay for this gamer anymore. because there will always be someone that spends more than you. its a race to the bottom.

I gave up on this game a while ago. I only log in when Knull pops up to help my alliance members get his shards cause I like them and want to help . I used to spend 500 a month. I havent spent a dime in a minute. Im playing DC Dark Legion. Its more fun imo. If Im gonna spend time and money, I wanna enjoy doing it.

I stopped playing when Prof X and Logan came out as the game was getting ridiculous. I was free to play and was in an alliance with content creators and playing against content creators. However, war as well as cosmic crucible become a chore. Events were non events as you had to buy all the newest team to play. Never regretted it and loving playing real video games on my PC or console.

Scopely is f**** lazy we haven't seen a single new permanent mission, it's getting boring their computers cheat and they don't give you enough resources to build all of the teams, they are only making characters for people that can buy them and completely excluding the free to players. This game is dying and it's because scopely is killing it.

While I agreed with videos like this, the biggest issue and unforced errors they have done is the shop rework. Part of the best parts of this game was the arena and ability to store training materials. They have completely nerfed this. I am daily contemplating walking away. I am a FTP player that manages to stay in the 70 to 85 rank range in Arena.

I mean, over-power is just a mechanic they can use to make sure whales alwaysnwin against F2P.

I've been playing for 6 years, and I struggle to log in anymore. Im tired of these hard set teams, where you must use Scopely's preset teams for value (e.g., characters having the best parts of their kit locked behind text requiring them to have 3 or 4 members of the set team with them).

A while back, Scopely released the Superior Six but also reworked all of the original Sinister Six so that you could mix and match them as youd like. It was amazing, and I remember that they promised to do that more often to give players more agency. But here we are 1.5 years later, and theyre just pushing out more forced teams. As a great example, there is literally zero reason that Yelena, Iron Patriot, and Winter Soldier couldn't be reworked to be with the Thunderbolts in a mix-and-match team. But instead, it's a set 5-character team that omits half the characters in the movie it's supposed to align with.

Honestly, I think I only log in at this point because of how punishing it feels so miss a single login day .... gotta love being forced to manually spend all of your raid energies for a whole week because you missed one day. 😒

Pve events should have different challenge levels with bigger rewards for higher level content. Like the chaos raids where you can choose difficulty.

Danger room is completely useless for early gamers. Being forced to use the brand new characters and hit crazy high numbers just to qualify as "participating? F yiu scooply

Because Scopely only gaf about money. No matter how much their other games make Scopely feels like EVERY game they produce needs to perform like Monopoly Go....

I am grossly bottlenecked. I'm trying to get my first character to level 20. I need level 20 to gain more level 20 resources unless I buy them. If it wasn't for you content creators and my no pressure alliance, I'd been long gone

At this point i think they're just tryna bleed it dry whilst it's got what life it has left. It's always been geared towards whales, but now it's outright a game purely for whales given the way it's done now

As a player who is returning after 3 years, i also created a new account, and I definitely feel that an old account that was very strong 3 years ago is WORSE than a brand new account. I play my old account and 2 new accounts, new accounts make old strong accounts worthless. Old characters are worthless. I can spend $5 (new player strike pass unlocks Annhililators) on a new account and make it stronger than a 5 yr old account even with new login events. I also completely agree that "teams" are much much too strict, where a character fits into 1 team in a way that any other use would be stupid.

I think if this game had a generic ip and wasn't marvel, it'd be dead. The content just isn't there. You either auto through everything or its so hard that only late game players can access it. And thats not even touching the "events" now that lock all the useful rewards behind paywalls, like these "burst events" we get now. Hey here's a tier 20 bio burst event! Btw you can only get those t20 pieces if you buy them, all the other "rewards" are t19 or lower. Straight trash
