Another great video Sandy and Colin. I am not into motorbikes, but your enthusiasm and videos make me want to get a classic bike. We need to remember the majority of people are decent and polite, and only a small (and usually loud) amount of selfish people around.

Enjoyed the video Sandy. Whole heartedly agree with slowing the speed down, level of driving & impatience is the worst I’ve known when out on the bike. Sadly as you say it’s so often the wildlife that suffers.

I had an Excelsior Autobyke in 1960 It got me into a lot of trouble with the Police, 😂 wish I still had it.

Nice day out and Colin certainly knows his stuff. As i'm getting on in years now I'm deliberating getting my first bike, will have to get the CBT first though and see where that takes me!!! Cheers.

All our lives Sandy would be much more enjoyable and safer with a more focused projection to wildlife, a slower driving technique not just cars, but motorcycles too. Aggressive driving is not just unpleasant towards other road users, but dangerous as well. Nurture the plant from its bulb, then a pleasant flower will bloom, nasty aggressive people are results from something that we all had years ago, contentment, love, and an upbringing to understanding all other life, and not just playing with our own toys, but learning to share, as selfishness is only a path to destruction, physically and mentally. I believe the secret to life is……..being contented, and the art to that is, not to want, as it’s the wanting that breeds discontentment, when the child learns this, that child will grow into a respectable adult….❤️

Sandy, the range rover driver was absolutely in the right. He clearly indicated his intention to overtake, but Colin pulled out in front of him having failed to look to his rear. You could easily have captured a fatality on video, in fact I didn't ever see Colin looking back throughout the ride, but perhaps he had a hidden mirror I'mnot aware of. Deliberately holding up long lines of traffic is also bad practice too, you should pull over where possible & allow them to pass, before proceeding once more.
Lovely bike of course, top marks to Colin & friends for their restoration skills, well done !

Great video. Lovely to see that old motorcycle chugging along. I don’t know much about motorcycles, but it was very interesting hearing Collins story of renovation and its history.
Everyone is in a rush to get somewhere these days and there is little often very little tolerance for people in their way.

Really enjoyed the video Sandy and colin comes across as a lovely, genuine and talented man. There are so many selfish, impatient drivers on our roads it's frightening 😟.

A great video thank you Colin & Sandy. Love the Excelsior shame about selfish drivers, suppose some of those cars on display would set a pace tho.....l don,t like a fast pace of life myself & feel sorry about wildlife it has no chance these days. Thanks for a good day out. Jan

Hi just a little nugget of info regarding Aspen fuel I use the 4 stroke version in Coleman pressure lamps and stoves that can run on unleaded.Since running on Aspen and fitting leather pump washers I have nearly zero problems.This kit is used on a regular basis when sea sea fishing.When using unleaded i had regular running problems caused by problems with seals and possibly clogged fuel generators but much improved now

The 1929 Lightweight TT winning Excelsior had a JAP 250cc race engine.
