Konkurent - Do you wanna (live at Rosewood Festival 2012)

Group Konkurent was founded in 1986 by Emil Anchev. During their carrier they performed hundreds of times in Bulgaria and abroad and took part in many radio and TV broadcasts. Many of the top Bulgarian musicians started their carriers from this group. So far it released 7 albums and took its place in leading rock groups in Bulgaria.

At the moment they are recording their 8th album.

Konkurent has won prices such as:

First prize at Rock Ring Sofia
Rock Group No 1 (BNR awards)
Best rock song (Varna music festival)
Best rock group (Golden Orpheus)
Best group (BNR and NDK awards)
Emil Anchev - best rock singer - Art Rock Centre awards

Something Wet - album of the year

French musical channel MCM broadcasted 2 video clips ; Do You Wanna and Leave Me Alone, Which were nominated for МСМ annual musical awards in category Clip from Eastern Europe and the group enters in nominations for rock group from Eastern Europe. The group will perform songs from the album "Something Wet"on World Music Fair in Germany (the biggest world annual musical, which brings popularity to the group and it takes part each year in this festival.

Konkurent has been support group to groups like:
Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Glenn Hughes, Toto, Uriah Heep, Europe, Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen, Iron Maiden and others

Konkurent had the honour to perform on the stage of Montreux Jazz Fest on 02/07/1999 and again in 2000 where they had 3 koncerts that have been recorded and broadcasted on BNT.
