AN Inconvenient truth was an absolute fabrication and LIE . They have been doing this since the 80's slowly , weather capture station remote capture systems ..........truck stop parking lot over asphalt , parking lots , near big a/c units on big building asphalt coated roofs(black coal tar ) seriously it is in no way new .

In 2023, which was the hottest year ever recorded, preliminary findings by Pierre Friedlingstein of Exeter University and an international team of researchers (my husband and son being two of them) show that the amount of carbon absorbed by land has temporarily collapsed due to saturation. The final results show that forests, plants and soil, as a net category, absorbed almost zero carbon during that 12-month period.

If you've ever worked in a greenhouse you will know that one of the first signs of too much CO2 in plants is thickened leaves. High levels of CO2 in that environment can be dangerous to humans, causing symptoms such as headaches and dizziness. That's why industrial green houses must use CO2 sensors to monitor the levels regularly and ensure they do not exceed safe limits. Too much of a good thing can kill you.

I hope the algae is not Sargassum, there are issues with that being invasive and that algae creates more greenhouse gases and actually kills the fish. I wonder if this is put out by the fools that said gardens contribute to green house gases...🙄 Sign me up for that university-NOT. Putting iron in the ocean may make it absorb more carbon. The caviat is that the ocean has been absorbing carbon too much and is heating up. Sometimes the water seems a bit viscose, gross. Just leaving trees in place and planting more, along with mangroves and marshes-zero cost and energy they would plant themselves if we had the time to wait. The ocean is boiling thankfully it hasn't reached the rim of the pot yet. Just because the pot is not boiling over does not mean everything is ok. There are reports that the whales are skin and bones for lack of krill. A good book on climatology, feed back loops and atmospheric science basics and all in one handy book is Climate Peril by John Berger. It is a "reader" (gets you up to speed in the time it takes you to read it.)

Update mark from Knoxville Tennessee a few years ago got my 2.3 percent cola raise on my social security disability which knocked me off my state medicaid program and then had to start paying 189 dollars for Medicare premium. So I also lost my dual complete united health insurance which had 200 dollar a month food credit for groceries. So that cola raise cost me almost 400 a month.this is ridiculous when I go to the grocery store I see steak at 20 dollars a pound and have to settle for bologna

They love solar out here in CA. It is on public buildings/parking lots. People buy the solar leases; they love it cheaper than electric company. I watch lots of different kinds of channels RV's, tiny homes, homeless, campers, homesteaders all have solar. Even in WY. It's all over w of the Mississippi.

Afraid of catastrophic things happening. There already have been catastrophic things happenings that killed or injured thousands of people in the nuclear power sector. That, is not what bothers me about nuclear power. What I have a problem with is that scientists have still not figured out what to do with the spent nuclear fuel. You can't just store it in drums, or just about any container as the spent fuel elements have a half life of thousands of years. I have heard of plans to take it to the moon. We need more power but at what cost? More nuclear reactors mean more spent fuel. There is no easy answer to the power problem without making things worse.
