Love the thumbnail, still have to watch the video.

Shark regularly has me cackling with his jokes.

Edit 2: I like your take.

I was always afraid of the idea of Black people just becoming the same as White people in terms of wanting to be superior, it turned me off from Pro-Black politics for a while, and even leftism as a whole. I was glad to know that wasn't the case with most of the left, but unfortunately that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

For more context, I am a Black NB who does not promote the use of any slurs against my people, of which even Twitter lefties are guilty of apparently. 🙃

Alec, I sincerely think a lot of white folks just don't understand. This was a interpersonal beef one essayist had with a wide variety of how the left uses certain black voices and ignores others. Shark rarely talks on intercommunity subjects, but the few times he had it led some white leftists to prop him up as their defense against racism. The PF drama was a prime example. That entire debacle stemmed from her being hijacked into a off topic line of questioning even she didn't feel she was prepared for. And to this very day, even though there's 3 videos on her channel explaining the whole situation, the entire rhetoric for over 3 years has been about her being some black separatist.

When people like FD talk about mixed couples being pushed uncomfortably on TV, it's about this dynamic of virtue signaling companies engage in, and promote. Mixed couples = good, black couples = where? oh, single black mom stereotype. Where's dad? etc.

This blatant worst possible interpretation shit has got to go. Have you even named or watched Soul Bunni's vid? Maybe had a talk with her? No?
Ya, Shark is a good guy, I think she went HARD on him, but for a reason and likely it was personal. This has been a three year long strawman drag where when we talk about issues that pertain to us and our community, we get ignored or have an argument we never made, be paraded around as if we did. The drama too deep, mate. This ain't it.
