The Grumpy Grandma episode just had me in stitches 🤣🤣. TBH, that's not anger - it's just the normal volume and tone they probably normally speak in. I only say this coz that's what my family is like when we speak in Chinese - people think we're arguing but we're just talking about dinner.

i feel like you almost need people to buy bloody arm bands with tracking signals like air tags or something.
just some means of going okay are they in the water or not. but getting that many air bands, that many devices, making sure they are charged, a system to monitor them, not messing with other signal sources......would be a logistical nightmare.
its also like you get so many multi cultural people coming to have fun but they dont understand english or read english. so they arent paying attention to any safety measures. like do you have to hire a polygot and have them on hand????
i mean soon enough we will have auto translaters that will be good enough for live conversation even in stressful circumstances and i hope they provide them for the lifeguards. like make sunglasses versions for them to wear while on the job. get subtitles in their vision of the translation =p
then again would they work with the constant noise/chatter on the beach....

The grumpy grandma and her family are definitely not having a fight. That is just how we communicate😂, especially cross generations—even if we’re having a normal conversation, it sounds like we are having an argument. My family talks all the time like this when traveling together haha.

Yeah... I can see my Korean grandmother shouting at me... Old Asians have a tendency of shouting when they are clearly in the wrong. They think it's a way of masking their fear/shame and protrude their dignity and face.
