If my SO posted that I was abusive online, I would walk away from that relationship.
Also, I think they're getting divorced.

If you have to post everything trivial detail of your life in a video on the Internet, your life is pathetic, and you're probably a narcissist.

Sorry. Tired of the tsunami of useless crap posted everywhere. The world doesn't need to know about your mundane, mediocre life. Just live your life, try to grow and improve. STFU and love your life.

Here's the thing, we are assuming she was just excited/enthusiastic. Considering she confesses that her emotional reactions are extreme, doesn't it make more sense she was border on a life-changing, orgasmic reaction to a movie? Remember the video of the old hippie orgasming because of a beautiful rainbow? Imagine that in a restaurant.

When we don't like what she says: "Just keep scrolling, you don't have to watch!"

When she doesn't like what someone says: "I will stalk you and ruin your life for my amusement!"

The initial thing at the restaurant made me wonder if she's an ADHDer with bad RSD(rejection sensitive dysphoria) . My partner has ADHD with bad RSD, and has issues with hearing rejection in places where it isn't, and taking any perceived rejection very hard (they're working on it in therapy, but it's a process). If this scenario happened to my partner, it would absolutely crush them. Normally I love hearing them babble, but I'm autistic and sometimes I'm overstimulated or I just don't have the energy, so I have to be very clear that me not having the energy right then doesn't mean I'm not interested. Usually I say something like "Babe, I love you and I absolutely do want to hear this another time, but I'm kind of overstimulated/exhausted at the moment, can we do this later?" A little bit of reassurance goes a long way with mitigating RSD. So yeah, boyfriend's a little bit of a jerk but nothing some clear communication couldn't solve, but I haven't seen the entire video yet, just watched the initial part, so we'll see what the comments say and how she responds.

Greetings Earthlings, So I have an alternative scenario. If we look at the fact that she is willing to make a video online about how "abusive" her husband is for shutting down a conversation about a movie which she omitted the title of and is backpedalling on her initial statements alluding to abuse perhaps the content of the movie is what he didn't want to discuss? I know of people who are called "flappers" who go through existential crises from events in their lives have full on breakdowns flapping their arms like penguins hance the nicknames. Perhaps he was trying to avoid a potential existential crisis by saying, "You're over-reacting, It's just a movie"?

I dunno, when you get questioned over every mundane and inconsequential things you do, it becomes simpler to just not do it or bring it up in front of your wife. I can't do chores anymore in front of her, i don't like taking care of my kids in front of her despite me being the work from home guy that takes care of the kids 99% of the time.

It is this same community that convinced my wife that I was abusive for just trying to "not" hemorrhage money. That an "allowance" for both of us to stick to was controlling. This is on the heel of at least 3 instances of her sending money to romance scammers and spending $100's of our money for bills on phone games... but I was the abusive one.

The one thing I have learned in my 27 years of marriage is not to stifle your partners truth. He was speaking his truth and instead of reacting to it in a highly sensitive and childish way you have to first, give them the benefit of the doubt (they love you because they married you), then let them know why you are acting in the way are you (explaining your actions), then let them explain why they said what they said. It's in their explanation that you understand them better and then you can communicate through that. My wife has said some things in the past that hurt me, but instead of reacting to it in a highly sensitive way and blowing it out of proportion I would just calmly ask her why she said what she said and talk through it. Ninety-nine percent of the time it was just a miscommunication on her part and she didn't mean it like it came out and we were able to work through it. Often times in the process we could learn new things about each other and what our likes and dislikes are which helped us be better partners for each other and learn to communicate better. What we never did was take our arguments to the internet or even family and friends and we never went immediately to talking about divorce. This is why we have lasted 27 years and are happy with each other and our marriage still.

I would hate to be married to this woman, i can already tell after 2 minutes and just seeing the previews. She has to talk about everything and just cant shut up.

I'm not surprised her husband said what he said and gets annoyed with her. I'm sure she's on him every time he does something minor that she doesn't like as well, micro correcting everything he does.

We have no way of evaluating what the man said or if the woman is actually giving an unvarnished account of the interaction. I have a friend that does this all the time. He reports to me that someone did or said something to him. But after a bit of questioning and teasing out the entire context, I find out that what he felt happened didn't happen or was magnified beyond the reality of the situation. Honestly, I'm tired of people using tiktok to get validation instead of working out their problems with their partner directly. Even unproductive bitching to a friend is better than the validation circle jerk that is social media. Social media just escalates peoples emotional responses to generate more clicks.

Not fully defending the guy but kinda need the context of what the movie was and what she was saying when the comment was made
I.e they could have watched inception which is a good movie to discuss and talk about afterwards or maybe it was a deep dive political commentary of climate change in sharknado 3 where it deserves 'its just a movie'

Also how can you be 20+ years deep into a marriage and still be acting like you've been dating 20 weeks

If it wasn't this it would be something else. THE LESSON HERE is do not go out of your way for your wife. She will still shit on you in a TikTok. So why even try.

I'm just guessing some people don't really have an imagination like that. Maybe too right brain or something. The rest is kinda crazy though.

No... I'm sorry, I have to say this... That lady is PATHETIC! 🤦‍♂
First she tells us one single situation between her and boyfriend/husband or whatever, showing some exaggerated reaction, thousands of comments validanting her in an extreme way, suddenly classifying the man as hateful and ab*sive all of a sudden, and with all that she consider herself an ab*se victim just because the "thousand" comments say so??
Lady, you LITERALLY fished for validation. You know TikTok would feed your ego, and that's exactly why you posted that.
