Do you know whether 5x1 Eyefinity will also be possible with a pair of 6970s run in Crossfire using 5 non-display-port monitors?

@groovesick Unfortunately it is not possible to run eyefinity across more than one card yet especially not using DisplayPort, maybe in future AMD cards

@3Target33 Highly unlikely, unless you know somebody from AMD or you bought one illegally. Besides, these reference cards sent out for reviews are often early engineering samples and are not designed to be as robust and quality tested as retail cards. Some features in early engineer samples for instance might not be available like the OC switch on the HD6990.

It's funny because the 6990, 7990, and r9 295x2 all use the same display output chipset.
