Love this pacs large center water bottle pocket.

Definitely a classic pack, love all the easy access pockets

This looks great - I'd be torn between this and a CPL24.

Nice review dude - something about your energy I really like. The bag looks tiny on your frame lol! I've ordered the x-pac black with the kiwi interior. I just cannot understand their designers thinking with the size of the laptop access - crazy tbh. TB is one of the few companies where the logo adds something to the bag. Really nice travel nostaligic logo.

Question: You reckon I can fit a 26oz Yeti in the water bottle pocket and zip it up?

How does it compare in real word size to the Synik 30? I have the 30 and love it but it’s just too dang big for EDC for me. For one thing it’s too long for my torso so I always end up putting it away and using either a GR1 or GR2 but I sure miss the pocket layout of the Synik.

I had a Synik 30 and the Synapse (the old half zip one)... But I sold them because they are a little ugly IMO, but i always loved that bottom pocket, it held a ton of stuff and the center water bottle pocket was great.

Great review and that black and orange combo is 🔥. I have that combo in Synik 30. It is large but it carries small. I like its sleeker profile rather than the boxier shape packs. I am a road warrior and have had this bag on every trip since early 2023. Sometimes it is my only bag. I have the clear organizer for my TSA liquids in one of the quick pockets. Works like a charm. I use a Surface Pro and it fits nicely in the back. I’m sure it is not as great with laptop

I had a synik 30. Used it on a 4 day trip. Got home and immediately returned it. Never felt worst shoulder straps in my life. I was pretty bummed because I loved everything else about the bag.

Hey George I think you meant to say the Synapse has been around forever. The Synik came along much later after the Synapse.

Love all the external pockets and the way they are designed. I need outside pockets for all kinds of stuff. Love that bottom pocket especially. I keep writing utensils flat in pockets so I don't poke my hand when I reach in and grab one. Because in other pockets they always fall out and you never know when a pencil or pen is sticking up waiting to get your hand.

Great review! I’ve got the Synapse 25 in M81 and it’s one I’ll never get rid of for all the same praises you had for the Synik.

Like the review but the last song came in too loud while you were talking. Scared me! I thought I left some radio on for a second! :)
