This $3.90 Buffet in Singapore Feels ILLEGAL

My office used to be around that area...nearer to the Buona Vista station. This area not much food choices except for restaurants unless we walk across to the Holland Drive hawker centre and coffee shops there.

That $5.90 breakfast buffet is mainly carbs and veggies and look quite bland. The $7 lunch buffet is very worth with plenty of meat dishes and look delicious.

Fun fact the $7 cai png at the canteen is actually for their company employees since most of the ingredients are their company produce the products and they supplied to most of sg f&b that y they can offer such a good price only the meat they buy from outside 😅😅

And this company went on to the news that since their employees work so hard and it’s right that the company should it’s part by filling their employees tummy 😊😊

3.90 ads is a scam to make people come. 5.90 is not cheap because the plate is too small for only allowed 1 round. 5.90 can buy the same value in most markets. the dishes seem doesnt taste good and they are cheaper types. On the $7 dish, the dishes are much better with pricier fish and fried chicken. however the $7 is just too ordinary too because other markets sell the same price too unless u opt only stacks of fish and other more expensive dish. how much can you eat? so the price isnt really value

its not all you can eat buffet, its just all you can stack one time on a plate.. what a scam!!! its difficult to get food wastage when you can only take the food once.

Singapore weather is too hot to wear suit, unless you are some very high position or you meet some big shot client or you are working in the hotel service. most of the time you don't need wear suit.

The suits are not the play (actually you see lots of suits in the CBD area, Shenton Way and the like). I'd never wear a suit if I have a choice - not in Singapore's weather!

Marina Bay Area is where the business people are at. You see them in their suits and dresses😻 it’s quite refreshing

actually it will be more profitable and sustainable only if the canteen is opened to public. from the previous mnc i worked in, the canteen operator decided to shut its decades long canteen business after the company make decision not allowing public to visit the canteen. the biz owner told me before, at the staff price point, it will not be sustainable if purely just relied on internal staff volume/ internal catering. in the end, the canteen becomes just with many food vending machines.
