Confusion: how different subnets are communicating without any routing protocol? Zones have more priority over routing protocols? pls respond bcoz i'm having some confusions in my lab, thanku!

By default the action is allow for new policy? We created new policy for zone1 and zone2 and didn't specify action

how to ping gateway? I tried to create policy with source: Zone1 and Destination Zone1 with IP of gateway and then commit. but unable to ping gateway. :(
