Utilizing an established narrative to clarify another does not pose a problem. The framework employed to convey a message does not dictate the veracity of the narrative. As such, it is important to consider the relevance and appropriateness of the narrative used in relation to the intended message and audience.

So technically, the Bible was a simplified version of the ancient tables in a more basic format. Obviously, there is a comparison that was taken from the earlier tablets and writings. The Bible reads as if someone was trying to explain the tablets to children. A less complicated version or simplified version.

The most interesting and telling thing for me is the theme being carried through that humans were created to toil and produce so that the god(s) could rest, like we're robots created to automate the god's/gods' food production.

It's interesting because instilling that feeling of duty is directly beneficial to the humans, as they go on to create a surplus of food (a token amount of which is ritually discarded to keep up the charade) which protects them from famines (which are characterised as the god's/gods' anger).

The whole thing may have started out as some people using an imaginary authority to achieve something objectively good, perhaps after failing to convince people to work hard out of pure self-interest. Maybe there's something in there about ends and means and consequences unforeseen. All this is speculation though.

Hydrogen helium and oxygen are the three most abundant elements in the universe in that order.

Water is the most abundant chemical compound in the universe

In hebrew the name is skywaters for heaven

@JohnDoe-dp7sk - 27.01.2024 21:39

The Dome cannot be found in the Hebrew of Genesis one.

The words are raqiya ... the birds fly upon ( al) it as substrate. It would be impossible to get above an iron dome to fly on it.... I don't think they would be flying up against it. That would be very difficult and probably self damaging.

A l means to use the face of the expense as a substrate that they are taking action upon it

Raqa is also applied to mud and dust which is soft

Wow, as an ex orthodox Jew I can tell you these stories are even MORE related than you even mention when it comes to Midrash sources and even Kabbalistic sources. Tihamat is used in the Hebrew text &translated as the Leviathan. In Jewish Midrash, Leviathan holds up the world. Also there is so much mention of YHVH destroying Tiamat to glorify him. I can actually go on and on... the Messianic Feast is when the Leviathian or Tihamat will meet the Shor HaBoor (Wild Ox) in battle and the fin of Leviathan will schect or slaughter the Shor Haboor and the Shor Haboor will ram and kill (aagain) the Leviathian simultaneously, providing the "Feast of Moshiach or Messianiac Feast,. LOL this is so great.. now I understand where these Midrashim get what always seemed like lunacy to me... it simply was the older theology of the region. Thanks for this gem!

Also, in Kabbalistic literatures, they build on this, As Tohu (choas, void without form) represents infinite light and chaos. AKA Pure expression of YHVH and the divine attribute of Chesed or kindness, mercy etc. As Elokim (Divine attribute connected with form, structure strictness, etc aka the Divine name used in Creation, these names flow together and constantly battle simultaneuasly, like the yin yang. When the world was created with too much Gevurah the loght shattered as the vessels or structure could not hold it and these sparks went into the world of Tohu... lol.. actually this is a conversation.. another time LOL... great gem tho!! The Genesis story is just a more refined version of the EXACT SAME THING LMAO!! see my first comment below....

I have time heres a run down and we’d have to talk to go further …
remember Tiamat in Lashon HaKodesh & Aramaic means Leviathan..

(The 3 creation stories of Gevurah the vessels shattering to Tohu. Chesed & Chaos. Then the flow of Tiferes as the 3rd and current are in that story too)

Apsu represents fresh water & Tiamat (Leviathian) represents salt water & they were water gods and they were separated so their mixture of their waters created all other deities …

Leviathian (salt water) represents CHAOS (Tohu) & … in Judaism (sparks of the infinite were too strong so they broke the vessels and created the sparks of tohu… right?

Back to Enuma Elish..

One of The deities they created by mixing their waters started fighting with them & is called Marduk who is the Babylonian chief city God of ORDER/STRUCTURE ETC) (Gevurah or the vessels)
Marduk Kills Leviathan (Chaos) & creates this world by spreading out its corpse to hold up the world.

(Verbatim with the Midrash)

And creates a situation where there can be REST, in the Yorah; the great Shabbat.

The Shor HaBoor represents order and structure and the Levisthian represents Chaos

The feast of Moshiach the fins of the Leviathian shect the Shor Haboor (mythical Wild Ox) & the Shor Haboor kills Timat or Levisthian simultaneously creating the Seudah Moshiach

The structure and chaos totally kill each other & create a Tikkun Olam a fixed world

The waters have to be separated so they can later mingle at the right moment to
create perfection (or the meal celebrating the Tikkun or messianic era)

The mixing of waters creates deities ….
And creates a situation where there can be REST

The great Shabbat where we & the world get rest from exile and exile from the Garden of Eden.

The creation (humans & Adam) in Judaism gets the rest; just as Hashem got rest & just like the Babylonian version…

This was messy but anyone who wants it cleaned up just hmu lol

Is Tiamat in it's original language look like תְה֑וֹם? is it like Tehomat? I used to be an orthodox Rabbi & the reason this is so striking is it also matches mystical/Kabbalistic (Zohar and Midrashic) interpretations of these texts. The separation of Chesed/Gevurah. Chesed alone (linked with the divine name YHVH) lead to chaos. While Gevurah alone (associated w divine name Elohim) is order and was too extreme and the vessels couldnt handle the Order. So, the creation of this world *the world of Asiyah or action) is a combination of Chesed/Gevurah. IE the perfect mixture of Chaos and Order is what created this physical world we live in. (And this mixture is called Tiferet.) It's also funny as upon learning this stuff we are told to be careful not to think of these attributes (called the 10 Sefirot) as gods, rather as divine attributes or emanations from the one god. what's funny is it always seemed ridiculous to me to even have to explain that to anyone learned in Judaism. But, now it makes sense, as these attributes were once deities. Just like all the different names for God. Like YHVH and EL. "Hear Israel, YHVH is your EL and YHVH is one." Which is weird... but then when you find out EL was its own Canaanite/Israelite deity, as was YHVH who basically usurped him. But now they are just different emanations of the same thing. There's even an entire doctrine on how Elohim is connected to the creation and shields us from YHVH, so "he" doesnt nullify us as it is the only thing that truly exists. This is expounded from Psalm 84:12 (Hebrew) כִּ֚י שֶׁ֨מֶשׁ | וּמָגֵן֘ יְהֹוָ֪ה אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים. "Because a sun and shield is YHVH Elohim.." (Sun= YHVH Shield (from the sun)= Elohim. As a sunray is nullified inside the sun, but can exist separated from the sun, Elohim provides such separation to allow existence. Anyways this is stuff from the Sefer Tanya, which basically turned the divine names into programming codes. But we know the ancients saw EL as a deity and YHVH as a deity, OMG, I just texted a lesson from Judaism in your comments LMAO,
Anyways, yea its funny that the Zohar's nd Midrash's take on these verses are the same as the Enumah Elish's, as well as the obvious things you point out from the simple text. You would've made a good Rabbi that you actually notice these factors in the plain text.

It means to RULE. How? Since “order has been established,” God can now rule.
