The goodwills in SoCal are terrible. They were good about ten years ago. Prices are so high and the products are garbage, and they're dirty with no shopping carts.

The Lost Walls Project would have been a decent sell on eBay where you could sell for $12.99 plus shipping, where the reference listing was from a reseller not the company

The goodwills around here are pretty sparce, they sell on their own online store as well as ebay, staff is trained on what to look for so not much good stuff slips through to the shelves. 10 years ago it was a different story

Here in eastern Canada we have the chain store thrift stores: Value Village (which is Savers in the US), and Salvation Army thrift stores. I find them very expensive for Dvds at around $3.00 to $4.00 CND each on average, Blu-rays are about $1.00 extra or $2.00+ ,more for box sets and they tend to base their prices on how many disc are in each. CD and cassettes in those places tend to be around $1.00 to $2.00 each. Videogames many times I can find for round $5.00 each but sometimes they get a bit crazy on their prices and price them based on Ebay going prices and they aren't even new. I found one great thrift store in a city next mine that isn't a chain store but they are all about moving stuff as quickly as possible and I can find dvds. cds and cassettes for around 50 cents each with the odd ones $1.00 or $1.50 though unless it's more high end then it might be a bi more. Blu-rays there are $1.50 to $2.00. I just went there Wednesday and Thursday and bought about 90 blu-rays for about $130 but so many harder to find blu-rays in there .... 15 ot 20 of them were ones that sell for $15.00 to $50.00 on Ebay. I bet they would sell for even more on Amazon for the rarer ones of them. I have a number of thrift stores I go to but they all have certain things that sell better then other things.

I now have over 300 cassettes, including a number of big bundles of them on Ebay, over 200 cds,, about 700-800 DVDs, and 200 Blu-rays and not sure how many videogames and board games I have listed on there, I wonder if it be more worth listing many of them on Amazon, I find stuff tends to take a while to sell on Ebay and you can't always get decent prices on them. many I struggle to get even $5.00 each for.

Only goodwill near me obviously looks prices up on ebay and sells at or over sold comps. Saw a sealed cd for $9.99 that can be had on ebay for less than $6 they are pricing themselves out of sales

I would not buy even the expensive shoe brands unless they were like new - for myself. When it comes to puzzles (I do a lot of puzzles) the company “Buffalo” which is the deer puzzle sells their puzzles for about $12.00 new…surprised to see it listed for forty something. It’s crazy how expensive used clothing are at thrift stores. You can literally go to TJ max and get brand new clothing for cheaper. These thrift stores are greedy as hell!
