I have never seen a four roses LE small batch for less than $400, other than at the distillery. Where have you been able to buy it for retail?

How do you have an Old Forster 1915 bottle? How did that come about?

Never paid approve retail, it's madness overpaying for every great bottle, bourbon suppose be great to begin with.

Love this! Eagle Rare is one of my favorites, but it’s a pain to get in my area. It’s not even that expensive ($40), it’s just always bought up almost as soon as it drops.

Never seen a Stagg for under $300 around here (Austin). Not sure what batch, but saw it at $750 just this week. That’s just too dang much. I don’t make enough money to justify spending that kind of money.
When I see y’all posting you found it for $50, I just think whaaaat? lol.

7. Honestly any single barrel store pick under $75

Quick note, I wouldn’t pay more than msrp for eagle rare. Also for bakers, look on the neck of the bottle and it’ll have the exact age down to the month. If it’s over 8 years old, get it. You’d be surprised how many of them are 8 years and 6 month old or more

Ok, I know this is an older video, but I'm kind of new to this whole concept and I'm wondering: Why? Like why keep buying these bottles if you already have them? Do they gain value or something? Is it just so you can say you have them? I don't get it.

In my area Eagle Rare is hard to find and it goes for an average of 82 bucks a bottle. YIKES! I just bought a bottle of Blantons for 69.00 Washington is a very expensive state for Alcohol.

I'm just getting into bourbon. Question - how do you get used to the higher proof stuff? Keep it under 100 and work my way up? Add an ice cube to help - which some frown upon? But it and let it sit until I'm ready for it?

I will ALWAYS hunt for RR SiB Private Select. That to me is THE quintessential bourbon!

Single barrels are usually awesome! I have three EC picks, 4 Knob Creek picks, 2 Tumbling Dice picks, Jack Daniels pick, Sagamore pick, Makers pick, and 1 El Tesoro reposado pick! I would buy any Russell’s pick if I see one:(

Nice choices! Would like to see a video of top 10 bourbons with great up front palettes like Elijah Craig Small Batch. Nose is cool, finish is cool. But what about that upfront experience?

Noob question: You mention Buffalo Trace releases products twice a year. Is it a fairly predictable seasonal thing or exact dates? I live in Virginia (ABC) and it's hard to find their products. Forget ever stumbling across unicorns, any product with a limited run is snatched up fast.

Just got the JD SB Barrel proof yesterday haven't tried it yet, it will be the highest proof for me so far, I hope I like it. WT Rare Breed is the highest I've tried and I love it. Tried 4 Roses 1st time(Small Batch Select) last night MEH, I hope it gets a lot better or I'll sell it.

Curious if Cigar Blend is still on the auto-buy list at retail. Feels like they are releasing more and more of this, the tasting notes have kind of fallen behind, and the batch to batch variations are so significant. This used to be an auto-buy for me but I've passed on this multiple times within the last month.

bought 2 eagle rare and 2 weller 12 for under 200 bucks a few years ago then reviewers said its great and boom, tripled the price without tripling the quality. moved to scotch due to "taters" propping up bourbon prices

Do blinds with my friends. Knob 9, old forester 1920, rare breed consistently come out high. Knob 9 always surprises me.
