this film was so good in so many levels... can't believe there's actual 2022 movie that's actually good....

Just watched this movie and the music from reminds me so much of “under the skin” with scarlet Johansson.

I hated it. I was so disappointed despite all the decent reviews I found of people saying it was great. It was trash. And despite all the STRANGE details, it was really rather predictable.
SPOILER ALERT
Once she got to her mom's house, it took me 4 or 5 mins to quickly figure out that she was meant to be a sacrifice for her mom & some of the weird townspeople. It had some disturbing images which were obviously meant to be thought-provoking, & intentionally "metaphorical".. which.... I guess... but still not impressed.
In closing, that movie left me feeling wasted & grossed out by the human body.

This was an odd one... Slow and strange, 4/10

If this film tries to make people feel disgusting after watching it, then I suppose they succeeded, at least for me. If you have any explanation for what happened in the film please tell me, I really dont understand so well

My disappointment is immeasurable. It's one of the worst movies that I've ever watched. Absolutely disgusting.

The acting is trash. Worst storyline and most predictable movie. How anyone can be entertained by this must have 1 brain cell. Trash all round. Sorry thought cinematography was decent.

What’s with it at the beginning when she pretty much dies and some black liquid goes into her, then comes too, sees some girl eating a baby and then again wakes up on the sofa…It’s like a poorly done poor man’s film.

Hulu usually don't have good movies in my opinion, but I'm going to give this a go here in about 30 minutes.

It's a very indie-folk genre type of film. Similar film is one called "Men". Tries to do something but fails miserably. It's not that good, but Jemma Rooper is great, and Kate Dickie

The real horror is the name, in that case it's a horror movie about the near future. what's on next? "woke"??? 2022 Hollywood in general is creepy 😳 and 2023 is probably worse.

Matriarch is bazaar to say the least, I'm not sure what to make of it😕I know it's "Horror" but 25min in Mom's tongue kissing "whoever, or whatever" in the front seat of the car (if I can call it "kissing") is not only gross but funny🤮*😆
