Quandary + Sherman // Winter Ascents in the Mosquito Range

From the quandary peak trailhead, we run the east ridge of Quandary Peak, descending the same route. Hoping to tick another 14er off the list, we head to Mt. Sherman. Confused by deep snowfields, we make the questionable decision to ascent the face, regretting our choice immediately, as the slope angle exceeded 45 degrees in some spots. After descending, we realized the car had a flat, so we spent the remainder of our time in the alpine fighting with a jack.
