I'm going to try again tomorrow and this time I will make it. I just tutnd 71. I started at 14 and I have stopped 100 times. God bless you!!!😊🎉❤❤🎉😊
ОтветитьI have been an alcoholic for 40 years, as i am typing right now I am drunk. married for 15 years, have 2 beautiful daughters, just about to go into universities, the double face is incredibly hard, saying one thing while trying not to pass out, very hard
, driving is a nuisance, working is a nuisance, wanting to kill yourself is a constant thought. But I think I am a pretty good guy, my family does! yeah once a year I might yell at a dog and fall asleep on the moon, Geez, have your heard Americans lately?
Women are drinking more because they’ve been misled by modern toxic feminism. Period.
They’re remaining “free” and single, not starting families, and working in stressful men’s spaces.
They’ve been lied to.
Men are struggling as well. F feminism. Feminism accomplished what it had to decades ago. It’s gone way too far. It’s destroying the west. Destroying the nuclear family, the heart of kind society. Everyone is lost and confused.
It’s time to wake up and take the good from the past and combine it with the good of feminism. The baby has been thrown out with the bath water.
Bring back traditional values that worked for thousands and thousands of years. Delete no-fault divorce. Teach kids the value of family, the value of belief in a higher power.
Independence and atheism is a cancer. We are social beings. Every data point confirms all of it.
Very moving and powerful talk. The writing on the wall is clear. Alcohol is being pushed down and most people do not even realize it.
ОтветитьI hate drug's and alcohol
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThis is great information. Dr. KJ Foster at Fostering Resilience also has great info. Check it out.
Ответить2/5/84❤
ОтветитьHopefully I will get there
ОтветитьThat's me
ОтветитьI recently read your book "Drink" and was impressed by your research and your personal story. I grasped your message immediately. Having been sober with AA for 15 years, I am struggling with sobriety again at 67. I have also worked with some other programs. A high bottom for sure. I have read in the past many of the books to which you refer. I am confident and hopeful. Thank you for your honesty. Nancy
ОтветитьWow that was great thank you❤
ОтветитьYou are inspirational, families 🙏!
ОтветитьThank you for this. She spoke her message beautifully. Speaking about these things to so many takes courage. I recently relapsed. I thought after 1 year or so sober I could drink socially once.. well that didn't work. I pray for anyone suffering from alcohol addiction. May we all be lifted from this burden and instead use our time, money and energy to make the world a better place. Blessings to everyone ❤
ОтветитьBravo! 11 months sober here.
ОтветитьYou are right. It was after I retired at 57 that I had the time and money to really enjoy what I always liked but didn't have the time or money....
ОтветитьI loved this. Professional women especially need to hear this right now. Thank you!
ОтветитьI'm 25 years sober. And Happy, Joyous and Free.
ОтветитьMushrooms completely changed my whole life. I became a better version of myself
This experience gave me a lot of confidence about myself and my body. A bunch of bad thought/behavior patterns were broken. One of these were pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that thing will be fine, this is one thing that I heard throughout the trip; Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me(although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before.
They're known as "functioning alcoholics" plenty around. Not easy to remain there though. Lots of am bars around. They nearly put Boeing out of business. They had to relocate from Chicago the problem there is so severe.
Ответить21 days sober 😊
Ответитьracially bias but agreed...
ОтветитьAmen i wish you all the power to keep going
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьBravo! Ann, I am also you! Your message is important and true.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьTen drinks in a week, OMG are you kidding, that's too much.
ОтветитьThis is so riveting and truthful she has a wonderful way to share this story, we need to be aware of what is going on with alcohol and women. Wellness is key.
ОтветитьExcellent video. The parallel with tobacco is great.
I seem to recall that they marketed to women in the same way. Especially when the habit was on the decline. It is making an image of a sophisticated stylish habit.
Do VP we need to curtail the marketing just like we did with tobacco?
BTW I also see alcohol sold in petrol (gas) stations in the UK. The irony of this is amazing. I guess it is to V make it easier to pick a bottle up on the way home.
I applaud you i am 66 stopped drinking 4 years ago.
ОтветитьMy mom was a alcoholic for many years. The Judge sentence her to 3 months in jail for 3 DUIs. She was registered to the local city college by the staff (they lose everything no job no car etc. We were young adults by this time) she went to college received her AA she was planning on becoming an RN but dropped out after completing her prerequisites for nursing. We’ve never had a good relationship because of her treatment toward me even when she was clean and sober. I went on to become a medical professional because of her example in completing some college. Alcohol and drugs never attracted me thank God. To the speaker thank you for your work to help others in this fight of alcohol addiction.
ОтветитьALCOHOL IS A TERRIBLE DRUG, IT KILLS PEOPLE SLOWLY. WE HAVE TO STOP TAKING THIS DRUG, IS PURE ETHANOL DRINKING.
ОтветитьWow! Ann! what valour! thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьSeems pretty obvious that the relatively recent explosion in wine and gin production and availability, which women enjoy more than men is a major cause of the differential shown in your chart. Congratulations for quitting and staying dry, but don't blame external factors for your weakness, which is akin to smoking because your friends did. You had nobody but yourself to blame for that, so take personal responsibility for it.
ОтветитьThank you for telling the truth! We need to break the cycle.
ОтветитьMy soul mate my lover ! Took her best friend over me 🥃. I can’t watch her die and she doesn’t want help . So I had to leave
ОтветитьGreat story. Thanks for the message. However I do not think this will spark anything in true alcoholics. The search continues…..
ОтветитьThis is me. I've known it for years and years. I'm 44 and it's literally every other mother I know. Most of my friends are deeply in denial, I know, but I'm still in denial.
ОтветитьMen and Women drink because the love the effect of alcohol. Alcoholics must accept that fact that is grounded in truth. We don't because men or women, good upbringing, bad upbringing. We drink because we our alcoholic.
ОтветитьDrink or not, you are going to die. Enjoy yourself.
ОтветитьDead is dead ea
ОтветитьMy mum said red wine is good for you, I told her the grapes are not the alcohol. It's a lie promoted by the alcohol industry. Glad I quit; life is much better.
ОтветитьShe is Brilliant - A Fab Speaker!
ОтветитьVery real and inspirational
ОтветитьYou got me! Made a grown man cry. I wish everyone could watch this.
ОтветитьHere is a bright shiny example of just what alcoholics are. Selfish.
ОтветитьI''m sure many alcohol related accidents can be attributed to the ease with which DRIVERS can get it at a gas station. Duh!
ОтветитьHmmm, I see she's drunk the AA koolaid.
ОтветитьWatch it till the end. Very powerful.
ОтветитьBeautiful x
