ОтветитьI am a newbie learner on every level. Was born before we had cellphones. 😅 But I find all this totally fascinating and love to create some stuffs in the future. Here I am struggling through imposter symdrome and being so embarrassed learning this stuff now at 43 while kids these days do this in their sleep. I did a full circle before I landed on wanting to learn this field at my age. This podcast really helped me clarify things for me. Thank you for this and all the free stuff. It really helps. I like studying by myself at my own pace, so this is great.
Ответить😢 too young. Bring me a 50 year old boomer who'll tell me it's never too late to learn.
ОтветитьBruhhh I can so relate with the Minecraft stuff when I was 10 years old haha
ОтветитьI think it is wrong the suggestion to start with python and wrong suggesting that code is struggle. You are struggling to generalize because you start with a scripting language like python that offers immediate results but those results are eventually not easy to compose. Start more slowly with a functional programming language like F# or Haskell or golang or C# and build incrementally but more easily on top of a more abstract or more typed foundation. Start assuming that debugging must be simple and the errors must be easier to understand and more readable and useful.
ОтветитьThat is 19? Lol
ОтветитьQuincy, love from South Africa. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьI am 19 and landed my first job as a Software Engineer 2 months ago (didn't attend college).
Not in an MNC obviously, but still it's the first step.
Microsoft 1995 : wow
Microsoft 2010 : whatever
Microsoft 2024 : who cares
Id say doing roofing in middle of July is to struggle. Coding is just a puzzle and logic.

ОтветитьIs Dubai not an expensive place to live, taxes aside?
ОтветитьIn the Beginning was the Code. And the Code created Life. Then the Life Created the Code.
So Say We All Are Zero One.
Tim is my batch. Born in 2000 but I introduced to CS when I join university at age 18😂
ОтветитьIf you struggle instead of enjoying what you do, look for other career options. You will not be able to survive by struggling all your life.
ОтветитьDigital Nomad. Dream job ❤

ОтветитьI'm not sure if working at Microsoft nowadays is the badge people want it to be.
ОтветитьI'm the opposite.. I found this passion for code in my late 30s!
