Cool prototype guys. I can see that a bit bigger for a robot I'd like to design.

I genuinely want to know how to build this. It's really useful and I haven't seen any other linear slides that rely on gravity

How do you get it to retract without the string slipping?

can this be used to build an extending dining table ?

I was wondering for my robotics team would it be possible to cut all the metal pieces shorter and still have it function just not reach as high?

Is the Actobotics cascading x-rail slide kit considered legal for FTC competitions (Relic Recovery), i.e. one-degree of freedom, etc.? Has this been confirmed by anyone from FTC? Thanks.

Where are the instructions for this kit please? We've got ours and are ready to get it built. We've never used Servo City parts/pieces before. An instructional video would be super as our team is majority freshmen and sophomores.
