Saw one at a pawn shop today, from 199, or 119 either way if this video turns out well I might go back.

I am assuming it's my electrical, and the fact that I have this thing on a 4 gauge ofc run of cable. But I have two AGMs and idle at 14volts. (from memory) Haven't checked to see what I have for voltage drop but I did a 142.57 wired to 2ohms. But I'm only seeing 775 and some change for my wattage wondering if real world is less efficient than bench test or I need better electrical? Taramp 5K is next and I want my car to be ready for it too.

Are these still known for blowing up or catching on fire?

i ran my sfb 3k at .5 ohm never had any problems with it

apparently the output can be used as input also, so you can use stereo sub out from the deck and it will sum them together.

I need a recommendation for an amp that can deliver 500w @ 2ohms. I got the sfb600d but I think it fell a little short pushing my kicker trtp 12" sub. I also need it to be as small as possible since it's under the seat of a mini Cooper

Why does it go to 1000w at 2ohms? Was hoping to run one but don't wanna draw too much power from the car. Will it always try and run as high as it can? If I get a 750 watt subwoofer, will it only draw 750watts?

I need some help. I have the same amp running a SA classic on 1 ohm.
the amp keeps clipping. I sent it to sundown for testing. they said amp is good and issue is cause by bad rca signal from the radio and music source bluetooth. They said it was premature clipping.

Is there such thing?

I have the sfb-2000 and it lasted me literally 2-3 months and I hardly pushed it really. I have it hooked up to 2 kicker L78’s and it got really hot and smelled like burnt plastic. It finally quit on me. The sound wasn’t too great either. I had such high hopes for this amp. Maybe I just got a bad one

Why does this amp and also it's clone the top strong gear not have any fuses. I'm a little leery about an amplifier without a fuse. Seems to me like something like that would go up and smoke since it doesn't have any fuse protection.
