Fix Crashes | Cyberpunk 2.0 Phantom Liberty Guide

To check error crashing ...open EVENT VIEW from search bar and go to application error ..then detail ...will see reason why crash happen .. for my case i found gpu tweak overlay caused game crashed ...so disable OSD and again try game ...the game hang on cyberpunk for seconds ...and run smoothly

Always get a black screen and crash where end credits are supposed to run. I've tried all the options, and it's still crashing. Hell, I even started a new game and it still crashes at the same point. I loved this game but this just wrecks it for me.

Also an old trick, load from an earlier save. Saves become corrupt pretty easy. Cheers

I turned down my frame rate to 45 and havent crashed again. But no Ray Tracing. 7700k/3080ti. Ultra everything else possible.

Keep in mind my computer still worked fine, it just jumpscared me with a really bad looking issue before i restarted it recently, something more scary than a blue screen

HEY so i reinstalled cyberpunk twice with no luck deleting all kinds of stuff from my pc trying to get it to work but in one of my HD files i found a mod folder made by nexus that was linked to the cyberpunk game but not in the folder so the mods would stay even wen you delete the game. still trying to see if it is going to work but i would look around all of your HD files and see if you find anything saying nexus or mods

none of this helped me ive whipped half my pc and it crashes as soon as you try to load into the game. you try load a save or create new game it crashes as soon as you hit done from Caracter creation

I dont think its the DLC thats the problem. I dont have it and hadnt played the game for awhile, boot it up for the first time in months, played fine for about 20 mins then it crashes and now anytime I load a save file or create a new game it crashes the second the world starts to load.

I installed the fsr 3 mod and it just crashes repeatedly. Uninstalled the mod and game. Re-downloaded the game. Nothing. Used to run the game just fine before. 😞

since update to new 2.0 i can't play the game because it will crash from the start, i tried everything and still no way

Stem overlay did it for me

Settings > Gameplay > AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT). Turn this setting to OFF. I was crashing every couple minutes and this fix it 100% for me. Not mine but it works

I had a lot of random "GPU crash for unknown reasons" crashes. Disabling Resizable BAR from BIOS fixed most of my issues. The game still crashes, but only after playing for over half an hour.

My pc is crashing all the time while playing cyberpunk randomly sometimes after some miniutes and sometimes after 4 hours

Thank you for this video. I tried everything in this video yet still no luck, what helped me was moving the install folder via steam from my H drive back to my C drive

My game crash when the title shows up everytime, I tried update graphic card drive and reinstall C++ runtime, tried sfc scan, still doesnt work at all

i have tried everything including formatting my drive on which cyberpunk was on. nothing works, as soon as i have to load my save game in game it always crashes. already re-installed it like 6 times or so. giving up hope rn, since not even that big update fixed it. never had that issue and cant really say if the cyber engine tweaks mod fucked me (which i tried deleting everything i could find) or one of the updates completely backed this game but troubleshooting it gets tiresome at this point. I wanna play it without getting bothered all the damn time.

Just refunded the DLC, nothing here made any difference. I'm done waiting for this game to be playable lol I can't believe almost no one is mentioning that the game is seriously just broken again in this update...

they trying to patch thongs but make things only worse, constant crashes randomly, i see more bugs since 2.0 then i did in 1.63

I was playing it with no issues then I uninstalled a mod and the game closed and I haven’t been able to open it since, I’ve uninstalled and redownloaded the game 2 times, verify integrity of game files multiple times, I have no idea what’s going on

I've never had any external additions to cyberpunk on my PC, never used mods or anything like that. I played and finished Phantom liberty in 2.0 and had zero issues with it, then as soon as the 2.01 patch dropped my game has been crashing within 5 seconds of loading up the game. Fuckin annoying. Cdpr definitely screwed something up in that patch.

My issue with series X, when I launch the game, it tells me phantom Liberty didn't download properly, and I need to uninstall, clear cache, and reinstall... I've done this, play the game with frequent glitches with cars appearing and disappearing... Shut down game,/console... Next day, it says the same damn thing.

Right click it, Go to properties and run compatibility mode to windows 7, cons? It runs like absolute shit, i have an ssd and before it loads fast and runs a smooth 60, but compatibility mode is like having an hdd instead of ssd, loads slow and fps drops to the 40s

Phantom Liberty worked for a couple of days after launch but then the game doesn't recognize the dlc as installed, I reinstalled it again with dlc and started a new game but Phantom Liberty still does not appear in game to start.

The dlc is installed and has been reinstalled many times but still nothing even after the recent patch still nothing. So basically £25 for a dlc that simply doesn't work.

I've done everything and all I get is the Cyberpunk logo flashing twice, then it crashes.

But how do you verify game files if you didn't download the game through STEAM? I bought it through EpicGames.

BIG THANKS TO YOU.. i was modding my game files until everything went ugly. i've tried reinstalling fresh one didnt work at all. even after fresh install i got kicked back to desktop again and again.. was so frickin hopeless man.. then i've tried the renaming folder and it works perfectly.. thanks a lot ma friend. even tho i dunno why renaming the folder makes this works.. but again thanks broda

I am getting contant crash at the Firestarter mission. I can't get pass the crashed helicopter

None of the presented methods helped me. Although I managed to pass the DLC before October 5. There were no problems with the launch, and there were no departures. Now, after the patch 2.01, I can't log in to the game for already 10 days.

Well its a excellent game when it works. I have had nothing but problems with this game after 2.01. Im done troubleshooting. I have spent more time troubleshooting this game in the last few days than playing it. Im gonna play a game that doesn't crash every 20 minutes. As many issues starfield has i dont think it has crashed on me once. Hoping lords of the fallen is solid.
