Nic when a creepy guy knocks you out from behind, tries you up hanging upside down, his cave is full of skulls and bones, tries to recapture you screaming "I'm trying to help you!"...he most certainly not trying to help you. Tying a person up by their feet is never the answer.

If I recall correctly you aren't supposed to pull the thing out when you get impaled because you'll bleed out though that might be too much real world logic for a video game also that wound would totally get infected.
