It's sad that California once was the meca of auto customs and where most of the custom industries started. Now days it's drying out due to the laws policies that are being implemented. I don't have any hopes for Up Garage USA to survive.

Seems like excess Jap stock, which isn't bad.

Having one in Australia would be very nice since theres barely any automotive stores with so much variety.

NGL the only way this UpGarage is going to survive is if they focus on maximizing profits from the exchange rate, and most importantly online/shipping sales. I doubt that it'll stick around as just a brick and mortar for too long.

Probably would've been better if they opened a US location in the mid to late 00's before or during the aftermaket tuning boom. Now due to tightening regulations, rising costs/inflation, and the cost of running a business, I don't think they'll be able to get a foot hold in the market like they'd want to. Maybe if they advertise like a MF, but again, I doubt it. :(

SAM, you are a Garrett turbo guy.....why don't you tell us that turbos are universal ( JDM to domestic,big or small) ...? Instead of just paying the price for a specific car.....I think you have hinted at it, but you haven't come right out there and said it .....I found that TOYOTA and Ford have similar, close, or right on for wheels on models.....17" with a 5 lug and 3" offsets for bigger brakes

The only thing I found different at Upgarage was the music lol. The USA location is missing the Japanese music. It feels odd hearing Kendrick Lamar while I was walking around.

Why up-garage flopped: Up-garage is suppose to be a place to find hard to come by parts for a “deal” or fraction of the cost. Not market value or slightly above market value. I understand it is a business and needs to make money but just an observation I haven’t heard many people say
