Old Dhaka is the most traditional city. It is not possible to explore this city properly without a guide. It is a very bad city for the local people. But for a traveler it is one of the most beautiful, historical and charming cities in the world.I can give you a list if you want.

The park you saw is historically very famous and tragic. It was once called Victoria Park. In the late 18th century, the British built a club here called the 'Armenian Club,' where they engaged in various games such as billiards. Entry to this club was restricted exclusively to Europeans, while the native people of Dhaka were not allowed. This discrimination angered the locals and led to protests. Eventually, the British allowed only wealthy local people to enter, but with the condition of following a strict dress code.

Another significant chapter in the park's history is related to the Indian Rebellion of 1857 against British rule. In a tragic event, several protesters were hanged from the trees in this park. These freedom fighters gave their lives fighting against the British, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice and bravery.

Today, this historic park is known as 'Bahadur Shah Park,' serving as a somber reminder of the struggles and sacrifices made during the fight for freedom.

As a local I rarely use the local buses especially on emergency occasion. Mostly I use Dhaka metro rail after 6 years the overall stations all across Dhaka will be built.Also suggest the foreigners to use this . Uttara , Dhanmondi lake, suhrawardi uddan ,mirpur ,khilgaon and lalbag are the best places in Dhaka city. But outside Dhaka bandarban ,syhlet and Rangamati mountains,Khulna has sundarban ,rajshahi is the cleanest city in south Asia ,rangpur is famous for mutton ,Tangail and bogura has best bakery and traditional desserts,cox bazaar has the largest beach with large mountains as well, Chittagong has the best beef mezban . furthermore,syhlet and Chittagong have the tea mountains.
