I love listening to your advice. You bring a deep comfort to my mind. I am so lucky to have my Temple, the Pittsburgh Buddhist Center, in my life. The monks emulate and teach the Dhamma so beautifully I can’t help but to look up to them. They are true inspirations to me. And so are you! Thank you for sharing all of your wisdom ❤

Hello there my name is ismael, I wanted to ask a question about attachment to lust, sexual desire, sexual thinking, craving for sexual fantasy, and the worst part watching that (unhealthy attachment of a website), it's really really uncomfortable it really is! it's soo bad that it makes soo much negativive thoughts of a sufferinng like depression, disturbing emotions, negativive self hate, negativive overthinking, making up negative thoughts that are not true and (hurting my mind like self hate, gult, a loser of a mind that I have), it sucks it really does sucks I hate it and I don't want to waste my life (my mind) watching that unhealthy website and being attachment to sexual pleasure, it hurts my mind a lot it's been hard to battle with sexual desire of a fantasy, and the most important one I don't want to end my life over this I am scared approaching to life with these negative thoughts that I made from Sexual desire of attachment what can I do? thanks...

I have 2 books that I bought ( the heart of the Buddha teaching) & ( the art of happiness) or should I get a different book that is right for me? thanks....

Hi Nick ❤ u very much. So, I know this person who is not that good of a person, they steal, from stores and people, they use people, they lie, they do drugs they don't work normal jobs, and now their dad dies and now they are going to be getting a lot of $$$! I know I'm not supposed to compare myself to others but it's hard when the only thing my parents left me and my siblings was the scars of mental and physical abuse!! Really makes me angry, I can't help it! Ugh, if anybody deserves a reward it should be people who endured pain and abuse over people who just lie cheat and steal their way through life! I just don't get it. I don't think karma is fair at all or works well, lol! Can u please explain why bad people get good karma!? And I try very hard to be positive, except right now, lol, I'm tired and fed up with struggling! 😢😢😢😮😮😮 I went through a lot of trauma when I was younger and struggle with depression also makes me hate my soul for not choosing a better family, I don't care what lessons it thought it needed to learn, it was stupid and picked bad family!

The personal struggle for me is a community and i live in a nordic country where there is s high individualism and i find it more difficult to connect with others. Also because people can hurt you so easily. Im a very sensitive human being . But i learned to meditate i sometimes can feel that my brain shuts down and its so quiet and peacefull . Its such a divine feeling but these are moments. If im lot focused on yin and resorative yoga plus my breath work it can be a bliss 😂 didnt knew that place exists in my head. But its a truly long practice of years . I use my props but it also give me support and these are my tools i can rely on objects like a bolster yoga Blocks. But no im not stress free i try my best. But yes your video is on point . . I cant work under pressure or work with goals for me its about a genuine intuitive manner of growth. Listen to what i need without the pressure try what i can and keep practicing without making it strong and strict rules . Discipline comes more from within without prsssuring myself . The desire to want something is the only way . And keep practising. Without time limits or deadlines because i keeo visualising what i want and thats how i try to implement habbits because it keeps comming back but not if im.forcing myself. Trust in your inner work and also encounter the ups and downs understanding the volnursbility . There is no "i made it place "to me its also about neutrality . And also i try to filter bs. Things that dont serve me aggravate situations hostile communication fear loaded messages. Im not saying i posses all these skills but i practice. . I cant deal with toxic positivty either its more about reality. Neutrality

Thank you! I value these videos, and they have helped me refocus on myself and my inner world. Maintaining a daily meditation practice is a difficult task, especially in today’s world, but you are a guiding light and your voice is a calming and steadying presence each time I tune in. When you said “catch yourself” I understood what you meant, and I thought of when a little child learns to ride a bike and the parent says, I will catch you… we can learn to catch ourselves. That is a beautiful concept. I appreciate your support. Thanks again!

I wonder if you can enlight on the different levels of munks. I understand there are from Pokao, novice and so on, developing... but what are the "sinn". I've heard novice require sinn 10, ok, but what is expected with this? Do you knosw or can you direct me to where to find this info in english?

I do the same with affirmations! I post them in places I will see them daily and have a little notebook with more to read through and visualize and feel it in my body as real. ❤

I know you didn't bring this up but I think mindfulness and meditation is the way to go about life. I believe it can and will save this world from the sense of separation by cultivating a sense of oneness and unity with the expression of life 🙏🏼❤️

Thank you very much Ven Nick. One habit I really need to improve on is negative thoughts, especially in light of recent events here in US. it is easy for me to let those negative thoughts feed on each other until it overwhelms me. One small step I have taken to help is not watching any news or going to any news web site.

My outside friend is Buddhism & my Dharma friends & from this religion / philosophy / friends, I learnt to love myself & that it is ok to embrace being alone & it is ok to surround myself with friends that are like-minded on the path to recovery from our addictions. 🙏🏼 Thank you for this message & important lesson through this video. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
