ОтветитьBatteries on many exotic Italian cars have same issue. Cars sit for many weeks, then, battery goes bad..
ОтветитьThey have lithium ion batteries now 😂
ОтветитьLooks like the dealer saw u comin a mile away with SUCKER tattooed on ur forehead. 5k for exhaust, dumb! Its popping bc u havent remapped the ecu for the new exhaust. Also 900 for wheel and tire protection? 😂 def a sucker. Sorry to sound like a dick but truth hurts.
ОтветитьSounds like an over priced hunk of junk. I will stick with my Honda CBR600RR.
ОтветитьCant do math ... ffs ..too mentally taxing is it 🙄🙄🙄
ОтветитьUse your heels to push the kickstand out
ОтветитьURAQT 😊
ОтветитьYet to find a Ducati that isnt hot to ride and a little research from.... say the last 30 years of motorcyle journalism and media wouldve given you a hint that Florida might be an issue given this is the case.. The rest is easily sorted with very little effort and minimal outlay. Certainly less effort than it took you to make a video about not doing anything about mostly easy fixable issues and flapping on like a victim..... All that money your saving by not using the the outside 50 percent of your tyres you couldve put towards sorting the other stuff out so you could enjoy the fantasic qualities of the V2.
ОтветитьIsn't that what the Italians call "character"? Haha. Thanks great to know. Just a correction tho: You are not buying "the Ferrari of motorcycles" w/ these bikes, sorry. The price difference between a V2 Panigale and a Honda CBR1000RR is not equivalent to the difference between a Nissan GT-R and a Ferrari SF90. Get a Superleggera V4 1000cc and you would be in that territory, you're going to have to be 6 times the cost of the equivalent Japanese sportbike. I'd say you are buying the "Porsche of motorcycles" - I say bat it up the middle and get a BMW S 1000 RR.
ОтветитьLower the kick stand with your heel. Should help a lot!
Ducati Detroit here I come. Black V2 on the way!!!
V2 is a bike for those riders who love getting stuck in neutral
ОтветитьThank You...Buying Ducati V4 for movie "Bleed the Fifth" instead of Ducati V2 Thanks Again $25,000 well spent
ОтветитьThis bike is the most uncomfortable bike I’ve ever owned/ridden. The wrist issue he explained in this video is an understatement. Do not buy this bike if you are not bringing it to the track. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
ОтветитьRelocate R/R away from exhaust / with airflow?
ОтветитьDucati australia is even more pricy lol
Ответитьlol Ducati is expensive haha thats a well known fact anything italian is $$$$$
ОтветитьYeah, i dont like the red either. They have the white and black now too. Id get the black v4 sp2. Thats so sick
Ответитьty ! now i will think about yamaha :)) at least they fix last year problems
ОтветитьAs far as colors, look up Subaru Heritage Blue (50th Anniversary Edition)
ОтветитьU don’t like red OMG
Ответитьso basically get a supersport 950s minus the horsepower
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThe streetfighter green is nice!
ОтветитьThe kickstand is fucking true 100%
ОтветитьAwesome bike
ОтветитьMy insurance for the current year for 5 motorbikes which included the two ducati's mentioned below and a 2021 BMW S1000RR m package and a 2021 full sized electric moped (scooter) was €485. All the bikes are on the one policy so I can hop on any bike I wish all year. Insurance in the USA is crazy but my reasoning for that is (correct me if I am wrong) No helmet laws in a lot of states, any 17 year old can get on any bike he wants with no training, Insane health care system and hospital costs etc. Total USA type freedom comes at a cost in both lives and money. I prefer the hyper regulated system we have over here because it keeps costs down for me. I am 64 in case anyone was wondering.
ОтветитьI have two Ducati's - a 2022 V2 Bayliss and a 2021 Monster plus. I also have 4 other motorbikes. I live in Ireland for reference. Ducati's are expensive to buy for sure but you don't have to change the exhaust or do all those mods the minute you get it. My stock V2 Bayliss exhaust would wake the dead and the insurance companies over here are not too fond of mods that make a bike faster than stock. All I did to my Monster so far is a radiator guard, an ohlins steering damper and I got a small ducati luggage bag which is mounted to the fuel filler cap. So far I have done nothing to my V2 other than get it serviced. Although I have to get the radiator guards - a must do mod. Once you spread your mods out over a year or two or three it does not work out too expensive - no need to do everything the minute you get it.
ОтветитьThe way to deploy the side stand on a V2 is to use your heel not your toe.
ОтветитьMy only "thing I don't like" (hate is a bit too strong a word to describe anything on this beautiful bike) is checking and topping up the coolant. First the viewing screen (the right inside upper corner of the front wheel arch as you sit on the bike) is not very clear and you can barely discern the coolant through it. The max/Min marks are also difficult to see. I had to mark the lines with a dark marker. You can see a vague image but it always leaves me a bit uncertain. So everytime I clean the bike which is frequent I check all the fluids and to check the coolant you have to remove two panels which involves 5 allen screws and two plastic push on clips and getting the second panel off and on requires some patience as it does not simply lift off and the edge of it is tucked under the outer main panel. Then shine a torch through the open top of the coolant bottle and only then is the coolant level clear in the viewing screen. For a bike that gets so hot keeping on top of your coolant level is VIP and I feel many owners will neglect this as it involves too much work.
ОтветитьI had a 999. The best, easiest motorcycle to ride fast that there ever was. The problem was; way too much heat coming off the engine. I could only ride it for about 45 minutes before it exhausted me. I got lucky. Some guy didn’t understand what he was buying when he bought a Bimota DB 5S. So, I traded the 999 for the Bimota DB5-S, and several thousand dollars. I was so happy to actually be able to ride a bike for what it was intended for. Too much heat from any motorcycle is a joy killer. Manufacturers, keep this joy killing heat in mind when selling us bikes.
ОтветитьDucatis run hot, they’re not very comfortable at first. The older ones are even worse with aggressive posture. They’re temperamental and yet, the best bikes around for me.
Now, if you’re new to one, you’ll learn to love it or move on. BMW is very reliable and crazy fast. If you’ve driven old Ferraris, they’re a pain in the ass too.
Buy a used bike that has all the mods. Also don’t buy parts from thr dealer. You could have gone the SC project route. Akro is a house hold name now and they’re overpriced
it is a 1000cc (955cc to be exact), with a price of 1000cc (the 2022 kawazaki zx10r is priced at 20 thousand) and has a little more power than a 600cc (155 hp where as a zx6r has 126 hp and with a remap it reaches 135 140). I don't think the v2 is worth it as long as a new one is above 12 or 13 thousand (I know that won't happen, Ducati won't lower the price). It's much prettier than a Japanese motorcycle, yes, I agree. The single sided swingarm and integrated exhausts look beautiful, but they also have many more problems than a Japanese one
ОтветитьWhen I get my V2 I’m going to wrap it in racing fluorescent red orange and black.
ОтветитьI saw a solution of a fabric heat shield under the seat.....she said it worked wonders on the Supersport
ОтветитьWonky battery F up the simplest Harley even.
ОтветитьWhen to ride a ducati? Only during cool days.
ОтветитьNo friggen way i am buying an exhaust that cost 30% of the MSRP....that is insane...stock is perfectly fine, 😂
V4 system is 7k plus
What’s the model of you Akra exhaust?
ОтветитьI can't understand you, how much I the exhaust ?
Ответитьninja 250 in green suits you better boy
Ответитьyou recorded this video all before 7:30am? man you work hard and def deserved this birthday present to yourself 😂
ОтветитьYou might have been happier on a Supersport 939, which is much more comfortable and also has less engine heat. All you need for fuel tank scratch protection is clear urethane, available at most auto paint stores.
ОтветитьTell me you really needed that $5400 exhaust. You did not.
ОтветитьWas the battery different spec or just faulty?
ОтветитьBro this is an awesome video. I like how you pointed out the issues with the battery and insurance. I'm about 8 months out from getting mine.
ОтветитьHow tall are you?
Ответить“Hate” is a strong word 😢. Bit of advise for those new to Ducati Superbikes. Wear leather riding pants the heat won’t be an issue. If you think the riding position is aggressive on a Panigale ride an older generation 9xx. With the batteries on any of these large V-twins their performance can vary with temperature extremes, too cold or too hot. Change to a gel or lithium battery you won’t have an issue again.
ОтветитьBuy the throttle kit to eliminate the slack. The kits are super cheap and work perfectly. All panigales have that issue.
As for your wrists, get some skintec tank grips and lock your legs onto that tank and stop using your wrists.
But did the real question is, did you put an air filter and then get the flash that opens the evo tune. That’s what really helps open that power up.
What ever get a different bike boy I really hate your voice you suck go get a fuck ugo or how about just go away
Ответить
