Yes! Yes! It's go! And Coulthard drags, Hakkinen gets away well, look at Eddie Irvine coming up on the inside! Villenueve goes up into second position, Schumacher is down into about sixth position, bad start by the Ferrari. Great start by Eddie Irvine. Villenueve! Look at Villenueve! And into the wall, who was that? Coulthard. It's Coulthard. Coulthard in the wall. David Coulthard in the wall, they'll stop the race. They'll stop the race. They'll have to red, they'll have to red flag this. Oh this is terrible. Look – oh! This is quite appalling. This is the worst start to a Grand Prix that I have ever seen in the whole of my life.

Came here to watch this after hearing the news about Eddie, getting the 1-2 in these conditions will doubtlessly be remembered as his team's finest hour. We'll miss you.

What an irony with Hakkinen and Schumacher. Hakkinen retired with damage to the left front weheel and Schumacher with the right front wheel!

I'm not sure how many people will read this, but Schumacher's fastest lap in the wet was 8 seconds faster than DC's Mclaren. This Newey powered rocket ship was on paper 1.5 seconds faster than the 98 Ferrari. Schumacher, talk about driving on an another level. 🙏

Hearing the phrase "a smell of an oily rag" here is funny. Gary Anderson always says it on the race tech show. I feel like he watched this over and over 😊

This race had everything. Remembering watching it as a kid, I honestly can't believe that so much happened across the course of 1 race. In my mind it must have been an entire season, but no, watching this as a child had me absolutely hooked. Oh how I miss Murray.

Watching it after 2025 Monaco F2 race start, still hope there will be a big crash without injuries in F1, that's what we want.
