I really love the way blizzard based wow around northern mythology. With Freya, Loken, Odyn and etc. Also the giant tree called nordrassil based on the giant tree of life in northern mythology called ydrassil... LOVE IT!!!

I cant believe Ive killed most of these guys without knowing the awesome stories behind them... wish I would have found this channel sooner.

you know odin was kinda right atleast a bit in how turning the dragons all powerful was a bad idea if we look at neltharion XD
also am i the only one who feels like nozdormu kinda has the biggest fault in this ?
if i remember correctly he is supposed to know all about his own future and death so he should have known about the shit neltharion would end up doing and could have warned people
unless i remember wrong and the only thing noz could see was his own death and not everything in between

I like how much blizzard based some of the story and titen keepers on nordic mythology like tyr loosing the hand to galakrond as tyr lost his hand to the fenris wolf

The retcon here is totally carp imo. The original story of the titans and the keepers was way better but that's just me I guess. Same goes for the aspects and proto drakes.....

I fell in love with this game recently and the lore is even better! It's great they got inspiration from norse mythology. Thank you for all the videos, I have so much to watch

love the video, and it makes me think that the story told in shadowlands should have been not about the Jailer trying to destroy reality. But the origin of all the roots of WoW lore. Odin and Helya should have had a much bigger role and used this expansion to tell a story what had been done in the past and how its affecting the afterlife. It almost sounds to me like Odin could have been a villain/anti-hero for shadowlands. Just my opinion/thoughts. These lore vids get me brainstorming lol

Deathwing, Maligos, Ysera, Nozdormu in one way or another were corrupted and tried to destroy the world. Sure, you can say that keepers themselves were corrupted and turned against the world… but NOT MY BOY ODYN. Totally the best keeper of all
