Awesome oil paintings from the 80s, a lost collection only recently rediscovered. I have never seen thickly painted work so deftly done, except for Anselm Keifer. Some paintings had burlap collaged beautifully and the surface is just incredible.

The artist was there to close the show as it turned out it is the last day. The thick impasto in the paintings was done with gesso with a spoon.
