I had the pleasure of seeing the fantastic musician Alto Reed four times in concert with Seger. They were great concerts and Alto knocked it out each time. RIP sir. You are missed.

Saw The Distance tour. They played this and house was on fire, the rust belt was falling down around us and for an hour, we were happy.

Bob Seger was smart enough to know that Alto Reed should be part of the Silver Bullet band. Romeo MI born and raised. Great tune right here!

You have to be in a place to "get" its vibe. I heard Bob Seger since
"Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" in the late 60s and liked his hits. Then, a bit
over a decade later, I'm living in "The D." Detroit's music has drive
and energy that comes from being full of people on a three shift
never-ending assembly line. Pounding hard rock at 6am 'cause that's
"Miller Time" after work. And when I got there, sadly, a lot of those lines were idle...Just like Bob said.

Bob Seger was always my favorite of the "Heartland Rock" artists. He didn't pontificate, he didn't have a $1 million art loft in Soho (cough, cough John M)... he didn't have to play the "Working-Class Hero" schtick. He was the real deal, relatable. Sad that he isn't as venerated as some of his other peers.

Damn, grew up in Pontiac in the 60s. Everybody worked in the automotive industry. And Bob was at local clubs and music festivals. Some of the best times of my life.

It’s a regional thing. Springsteen nailed the east coast vibe, Seger the Midwest and in my opinion, Jackson Browne Southern California. I saw all three, they were all great (Seger was my first concert in ‘68), but nobody puts on a show like Bruce!
