Why the most people say Vice City Sell over 17 million ?

These censors do not make any sense since there were a lot of gang violence going on with Cubans, Haitians and latino imigrant groups in general during the 80s Miami.

Something similar happened in GTA SA with protestors wrongly accusing the game of racism because it portrayed black and latino gangs, which again doesn't make any sense since this exact same scenario actually happened in the early 90s Los Angeles in real life. Rockstar only represented the scene as it happened and did not intend to make any racist representations.

Max Payne 3 takes place in Brazil and portrays a lot of gang violence and poor communities ("favelas"). I'm a Brazilian myself and did not feel attacked nor offended by any means since these is actually the reality of Brazil and Rockstar did an awesome job showing this.

GTA 4 also featured two Brazilian pedestrians, one is a fowl mouthed weasel and the other one is a crackhead. Again no offense taken since weasels, fowl mouths and crackheads are pretty common in Brazil too.

Two decades of this classic, nostalgia hits harder.

man the censored version is baffling. the dialogue really sucks during the umberto missions and especially during the one avery mission.

They coulda fixed the "Cuban and Haitian" problem by redo-ing the lines and having the characters say something like "KILL THOSE PRICK CUBAN GANGSTERS!!" But I could be wrong on that. Basically just have the VA's come back in if they're available and have them say gangster after Cuban or Haitian

The censored version is so sad because the characters, they're awful fucking people, and awful people say shit things about other people. Crazy how much people care about artistic racism, like they want to make it look like racism doesn't exist.

it's quite disappointing that lots of cool stuff had to be simplified at the end due to either potential legal issues or lack of resources for actually finishing things up - and therefore it's also disappointing that in Refined Edition they just remastered the stuff, but didn't "continued" those unfinished things (at least those which are not legal-related)
