Merry Christmas 🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьThat's cool that it works that way. I went to Pyro for the first time with my daughter last night, just to explore. We landed at, I think, a Citizens for Prosperity outpost on bloom. As we were looking around, we started to hear gunfire so we made a run back to our shop, only to get stuck in a crossfire in a doorway. The NPC guard went down, but whoever was shooting went off to attack something else. I tried to grab the rifle the guard dropped but fell through the planet. My daughter was able to make it back to the ship and take off though, and we had a Nursa in the hold so I could respawn. Overall, it was a great first impression from the jump point to all the different ominous music. I'm not sure if the firefight was other players attacking the outpost or some kind of NPC raid, but either way, it was very tense.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas to you! 🎄
ОтветитьHappy Xmas everyone o7
It's so nice to see people just doing what they made pyro for.. Having fun!! lol .. the amount of whiny people crying about being shot is a joke xD its lawless!! have fun!! no more stupid jail :P
This is really big going forward. NPC enforcement will make the game amazing. Imagine if security at microtech shouted orders to halt to players with guns drawn.
ОтветитьNow they need to give the NPCs railguns and rocket launchers so you can't cheese them with ground vehicles
ОтветитьMerry Christmas 🎄 to you and your family 🎁 Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and your family 🎁
ОтветитьMerry Christmas Bro.
Ответитьhes in a A1 an calls it a fighter lol ...dont listen to this guy for anything pvp ....he's an anti pvp Carebear troll in disguise
Ответитьit one thing to go after a group but if you are teaming up on solo player that just worng. Im not saying dont pvp but thaere is a fine line beteew pvp and being a bully. Also AZone will never go away. this is do to tolls killing player in safe places. there NEED to be safe places for pve player to do ther game play with out someone killing them. Yes it cant stop it 100% but if you have a place like pyro you will most likey just pvp there over tolling in Stan. With out AZone the game will die for pve and they make up more of the play base then pvper.
ОтветитьPyro was IMO only ever intended to be null-sec originally. Back when the only population center in the entire system was Ruin Station, there were no other space stations, and the only people in the system were the gangs fighting for control of Ruin. When they changed things up to have a higher population across the system with more factions that were incompatible with the gang-war idea for Ruin station, and more stations were added, the possibility of it being null-sec is simply gone. Null-sec systems are going to be ones where there's essentially no human presence whatsoever. Systems with no presence whatsoever are going to be very few and very far between, and Pyro is not among them. It simply isn't practical, be it in lore or in game for gangs to allow people to just do whatever they want without consequences. Ultimately, everybody needs to eat, drink, and be able to maintain shelter, and so generally speaking, while there might be frequent raiding from opposing factions, they wouldn't take kindly to supply ships being attacked. Some longer-standing gangs in this situation would very likely have an informal agreement not to target each other's supply ships, simply because it opens the door for their own supply ships to be attacked and wind up with them getting cut off. Not that there would be no room for raiding or hostilities, but they would be a little less common and a little more formal and organized than one might expect from gangs. The harsh living conditions, ample space to allow each other to pass, and implications involved with starting an open conflict in Pyro necessitate that the gangs in pyro, even if hostile with each other, aren't always kill on sight, and are protective of their assets and willing to implement security measures for those who might be visiting.
Pyro would be a low-sec system, not a null-sec.
I am so pleased with this it almost counts as a Christmas present.
Ответитьi dont mind that what i hate why i stop go to pyro is becouse if the griffer at the jump gate CIG need to set turrents up that can hit you from 50 km away so people can fly safe in an out from stanton system to pyro an out when you get to the gate
yestoday there was 4 players camping the Pyro gate out shooting everone that try to leave that just mad me my friends to decide ok than f Pyro if thats how people behave
Happy holidays!
ОтветитьThe emergent gameplay from NPCs throwing themselves into the mix will be epic. Can you imagine a war just getting bigger and bigger as more and more NPCs fly in to try and clear/support opposing player groups?
ОтветитьPirates are not just murderer, PvP is not just griefing.
Its a lawless system, in the moment, but that does not mean, that everyone who wants to explore Pyro wants to do PvP.
If you want PvP go to contested zones, if you dare.
Pirates interdicted you in Stanton and demanded money depending on the worth of your cargo.
Griefing cowards are camping behind a stone and waiting for someone to shoot in the back and declare it pvp and/or piracy. That is so uninspiring and unimaginative to use Pyro in this way.
Gotta make sure there's no witnesses.
ОтветитьCould the player you attacked be a member of the headhunters and that is why they attacked you? Cuz that would be cool
ОтветитьI've said this time and time again... Lawless doesn't mean anarchy. It means no UEE. I think once the murderhobo type of PvP players start to see that THIS is how this is supposed to work... that the factions WILL enforce order... I think the game will be better for it. Once the full reputation system and the law and order systems come into the game, the nature of "PvP" will change dramatically.
Ответитьmerry xmas
ОтветитьYes, let's get rid of ALL Armistice zones. I'll grab the popcorn as the Star Citizen MMO crash and burns into a crispy catastrophic flop of an MMO. LoL
ОтветитьCan't wait for armistice to be changed, it's a bit gamey to have a magic "can't fire your weapon" bubble around POIs
ОтветитьIt sorr of works. At least shoots lol
ОтветитьThat's great, but anti air turrets in these outposts are not enough to take out Polaris.
ОтветитьBefore I jump back in I want to wait for a release where I won’t spend 2 hours getting somewhere just to die to a glitch when I get there.
ОтветитьI guess we'll see a re-implementation of Stanton security at some point. I remember years ago, when they added NPC freighters, and NPC security response, and none of it functioned properly due to server performance. We might even see the end of NPCs on chairs, now server FPS is sorted.
ОтветитьI found this very encouraging this is the approach I am hoping CIG would take.
Ответитьmany player is poor right now in 4.0 and trying hard to earn some money and you guys shooting them for fun!?
ОтветитьI like the system defense mechanism
ОтветитьIt's not a PVP-System it's a Faction-Law-System, but this is simply not yet in the Game!
ОтветитьGood. This is exactly what I was looking for. Lawless just means not under UEE authority and protection. It doesn't mean total anarchy. The gangs rule here, and like any ruling group in an area, they would have zero tolerance for ANY hostile behaviour by anyone at their settlements unless ordered by them directly.
At least now, people can actually step outside their ship and explore these beautiful hand crafted settlements without their defenceless and unmanned ships getting blasted by some rando with zero repercussions. There's no point in creating content if no one can actually explore it, right?
Good to hear!
ОтветитьIs it normal for a Citizens for Prosperity outpost to have NPC'S that just try to kill you on sight? I walked past several just lookin around, then suddenly I'm being shot and grenaded. At the time I had no rep whatsoever with any group.
ОтветитьErad went murderhobo
ОтветитьHave not been able to launch the game, keep getting a launch error 30005 referring to the anti cheat thing can't get passed it either on the Live or the 4.0 preview, thanks CIG
Ответитьlol I love the political infantilism of most people. Just because the UEE is not present doesn’t mean that PYRO is “lawless” aka Anarchy. The gangs should be viewed as proto-governing bodies and they sure as hell are going to have rules…
ОтветитьSupport from groups with reputation makes sense.
Ответитьif you're new don't buy star citizen, it's a griefers paradise.
Ответитьbut how do you remove hostility?
Ответить
