There are a lot of good updates. I also prefer the up and down controller. The speed is good now at 20mph. If it got to 30 mph, it would be perfect for what I do with off-road dual sport riding. The 2 different recording modes sound the same to me. Great video

I just learned something about the audio; every time I tried it with my Neo, all I got was scrambled/garbled speech which was unusable. I ended up speaking to DJI Support who were really helpful and promised to investigate. However before they did so, I had a lightbulb moment - could my hearing aids be interfering with the audio? A quick test proved it - as soon as I killed the Bluetooth connection between my hearing aids and my phone, the drone audio worked faultlessly. Thought I'd let you know as some of your other viewers may encounter the same issue and its easy to forget what these modern hearing aids are doing in the background.

Finally, I took delivery of my brand new Mini 4K Pro today and am looking forward to playing with that! Thanks for all the advice and entertainment, Marcus 👍

I like that they gave us the option to fly horizontally with the phone. I realize you said you liked it the other way, but options are good. 😉

I wish it had some sort of ai obstacle avoidance. I'm always nervous of leading it into a tree.

Note! Don’t fly the neo in very low light or dark conditions with motion controller. The Neo Will lose its mind. Lol and if you are outdoors you may lose your drone!

I fly the NEO with a controller and it still worries me. 🤷🏻

Great video Marcus! I returned my NEO, and got myself a HoverAir X1 Pro. I can't believe NEO has Geofencing in follow mode, that's unacceptable.

Thanks for a good review, Marcus! Will I ever buy a Neo? Probably not, but it surely is neat to see the capabilities and the tech built into such a small guy.

I noticed that a couple of times when it was following you that it slowed way down, like it lost track of you. Then it sped up to catch up with you. Do you know what was going on there?

What I'm missing in the app view is the number of satellites that the Neo is connected to. These are also displayed in the FlightLog.

Interesting, I was thinking maybe, if you install the DJI Fly app on a larger screen, an iPad or a Samsung Tab S9/S10 (which are powerful enough to run the DJI Fly app) then you have the option to fine-tune the digital control more because the screen is larger, would that make a difference?

This was a good update for the Neo, add new stuff and improved existing features. I hope they work on improving video quality in the next update. Great review Marcus, thanks for sharing.

Hey Marcus, Merry Christmas from the UK. I was surprised how far the little drone travelled distance wise using just the phone. I was told that the limit was 50m. Looked to me like you managed much further. Cheers Simon

Great video just received the neo was really hoping to utilize it to do real estate home tours but the audio is awful sadly I will be sending back

Excellent video. I bought one for my nephew to use as aerial B-roll footage. Glad to hear some updates are being made to it.

Tried out capturing audio with iPhone ear buds. Would recommend using DJI Microphone.
