Void Cascade: BEST Operator Loadouts (READ PINNED)

I have been looking for this exact video, how convenient.

Since the devstream confirmed that axi fissures will come to Zariman, SP Void Cascade might just probably be the most rewarding mission in the game.

Only thing about Void Cascade is it’s very solo unfriendly. Since the exolizers can be very spread out over the map, it basically requires multiple players for the game mode. I wish they could tweak VC so that exolizers can only spawn in a set room, or at-least have them 100-200 meters apart maximum.

It’s about time for me to update my amps

Please guys for the love of god DON'T activate void angels in multiplayer until you are extracting as it will bug rotations, if you do you may get scolded or blocked

Eigther I dindt pay attention because it was to fast for me or you missed magus lockdown for recommendations
It helps with headshots so much on thrax after overguard is off

Also i very much dissagree with cold being bad to prime thrax with
A few cold procs makes headshotting them so much easier that it is much worth the few seconds more they need to turn around while transforming - headshot on thrax makes you not need deplete energy in operator for the arcane and just sit in void mode, and wait to one hit them with headshots even up to lvl cap

Small FYI, I'm assuming you use Unairu a lot so probs haven't encountered this, but the Phahd also can self-stagger/knockback you. It's my favourite personally, void strike +magus melt 7x stacks and you're practically guaranteed a roomclear. Dunno if that holds up into levelcap but I'm sure it does...?

I just want to leave a comment because I see that Magus Melt is continuously getting recommended in recent Void Cascade videos

MAGUS MELT DOES NOT HELP AGAINST THRAX SPECTRAL FORMS - they are only damaged by Void damage from the Amp specifically. So any Arcanes that add or change Amp damage to elemental damage do not help here

Magus Melt is only helpful for Last Gasp and/or the Angel, but in the grand scheme of things, these two things are far less frequent and far less important than killing Thrax Spectral forms in your average Cascade run. So prioritise what you take in your loadout accordingly

Nice video, precisely on point. I would like to point a few things for tenno who want to try this first time solo. You can go vaz for survivability, get vasti/sarpa for armor strip. As for killing thrax, vaz school is enough as long as you got 10 viral stacks from your primer before he goes in spectral form. these stacks of viral are vital along with mentioned standard operator arcanes for comfortable one/two taps at lvlcap.
Also revenant roar reave combo is cheat code to oen shot thrax with overguard if you got enough ability strength as it deals true damage!

Although I wouldn't recommend +heat arcanes, cuz iirc thraxes in ghost form only take void damage from operator, so convting it to heat lowers your dps.

Also epitaph built for damage (charged shots only!!!) is actually insanely strong, but you must know what you do.

Lega phahd is the best for general use and by far more fun to play. Meta 777 may work against eidolons but suck badly against everything else

Curious about the Virtuos Trojan comment, according to the wiki:
"Although it is not listed in the Codex, the Angel's Ethereal form uses Flesh for its health type. Aside from the Orb's golden shields, equipping Virtuos Trojan to convert a portion of void to viral damage can make the Ethereal phase easier to finish."
I have not actually paid attention to whether or not it procs on the angel, but I've had instances where I was able to oneshot the void angel before it summoned the orbs in SP and other times I was not able to fast enough. So, I just assumed it the viral status proccing, but not sure.

On AMPS primary parts: I wouldn't recommend Lega(6) - the damage is just not there and its only good for hosing exolizers. Klamora (7) has dps but no range/low ammo which is a big drawback for exos = thats exactly why people use magus Cloud. Cantic(5) has both range and dps/rof to snipe exolizers purging them across a room - so thats another good option, and frankly its the most comfortable one to use because there is no delay going back to void mode after shooting (but its dps is worse than 7 ofc)

BTW magus Melt does nothing vs thrax spectral form so it's of no use in cascade.

now withthis, we need a separate loadouts tab for operator, so we can have saved whatever it needs for any game mode

afaik, the operator loadout is shared across all loadouts, and if you change it, it will just be a 1 loadout for all

To get out of stun lock, use controller to dash while in the stager animation, for whatever reason cant be done on keyboard

Hey boss...I'm not sure the procedure here but I have an Oberon nuke build I've worked on and would like you to check/improve if you got time.

Here after the new patch to say two things:

1- status effects on thrax no longer transfer over.

2- you’re supposed to be able to use epitaph on them now, and it’s not supposed to slow their animations down(due in part to #1), but I’d say like 40-50% of the time the thrax are still slowed lol

So the guide needs an update on the spirit thrax part no? They no longer carry over status effects from their body form

How come Magus Melt is highly recommended? It doesn’t work on Thrax ghost form according to wiki and theres only 1 void angel (optional) in the mission which most people do for at least an hour
