Still a wonderful and most amusing production with great singers; Mozart would love it!!

Donna anna is bad. Hate that voice. The entire thing is a bit odd. Roh version is the best.

Feo. El final parece una parodia. Malos actores. Muchos momentos fuera de tempo.

Stage is giving me headache. Great perfomances tho

I felt the tempo of the whole opera was much too slow; watch Montinari conduct it in Venice in 2017 to see what I mean.

Loved the singers but not the staging.

Such a waste of great talent and a wonderful libretto. It even undermines the glorious music.

Almost every scene has something strange in it (and my fave Don Giovanni is very modern). And casting is not great, I do not like Mr. Keenlyside in this role at all. I loved him in comedic roles before, but he's too nice to be Don Giovanni. Others are very blah too.

Mit welchen verkorksten Produktionen muß sich ein Zuschauer eigentlich noch abfinden? Haben wir uns an solche Standards schon so sehr gewöhnt, dass wir das Abstruse als Normalität akzeptieren, es sogar als besonders ansehen?
