You'll find someone who adds to your own spark, there's so many people in the world, there's someone for everyone. I know words from a stranger a month after your birthday won't matter but happy birthday, 17 is a very important number. Remember that being unhappy with your progress is normal but its your first time living, your first time with certain things, your first 17 years on earth are all milestones and i'm so proud of you for everything you have accomplished :)
all that matters is that your trying and I hope next birthday you'll be spending it with some people that
you remind me of a friend I met last year. they had no friends on their 14th and I met them during a time they were majorly struggling. I wanna take them out for a day and I think I might have fallen in love with them (they dont know that hehe) :)
my point being, you'll find someone who will enjoy your company as much as you enjoy theirs, male, female, non-binary, or anything in-between. Just remember you have people who care about you but honestly being alone is normal too. learning to love yourself and your progress is the hardest (trust me, coming from a professional loner and someone who gave up on life) but you have to do it before relying on someone else because only you can make yourself happy.
