As someone who suffers from 2 cases of CPTSD, 2 PTSD episodes, and constant physical pain, I couldnt function with out them

SSRIs/SNRIs not only made me emotionally numb af, but also suicidal. In my opinion, physicians prescribe them way too easily and carelessly.

Their numbers are pretty good for suicides.

People react differently. The only thing that worked for me in the end was therapy and eliminating caffeine. Medications make me "not there." Mindfulness helped, I read books like 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels to learn mindfulness meditations. It takes time to manage anxiety, the trick is just hanging in there somehow and learning triggers, setting boundaries, changing diet and having great habits.

Because it's a pseudoscience. It's just guesswork

Actually the latest generation of anti-depressants work on glutamate and the NMDA receptors, this guy is already out of date…

SARIS are poison. For Anxiety, Pregabalin is brilliant.

These are more dangerous and detrimental than the ones that get abused.

The simple fact is serotonin theory with the class of meds has been totally debunked. There isn't a single test on that class of drugs submitted to the FDA in excess of 30 days. And I'll bet you he never actually read the Black box warning to anyone before he prescribed them.

Weird comments. SSRIs are life savers for many. Meds are not for everyone and even then sometimes you have to trial a few to the find the one that does works for your body. Prozac me please.

My antidepressants are the best ive been on, but still doesnt help my anxiety.
