Bias Amp 2 Demo - Section 1: - Overview

I have these in my iPad but apples update screwed me , now I can’t use adapter. I spent all that money for nothing.

I've had bias amp for years and it always sounds dirty to me even in the clean mods. What could cause that. Working on iPad air 2. It just sounds like toys sounds. Nothing like what I'm hearing from you.

Help! I get great time with bias fx 2, but the latency just kills it forme...any tips regarding latency...I have tried focusrite, behringer, Zoom, orange teleport audio interfaces..

Yeah I was on the channel .. there’s lessons there .. I’m lucky .. I found a master of the best melodic way to play guitare who can teach me doing things right.. I’m tired of all that mechanical lessons which lead to nowhere ..

The noticeable thing in this video I get with is that the guy has one of the best hand on guitar I’ve ever heard in my last 25 years listening and playing .. smooth subtle and melodic.. with the voice and the accent of jamie humphries..
Anyway great demo I enjoyed more the play than the sound.. any possible way to learn the way he plays??

I want to sound like Brian May. Can it emulate a VOX AC30? As well as Marshall setup to sound like Malcolm and Angus Young?

LOADS OF PRESETS..LOL 4 ON EACH..

Positive Grid makes great apps, I use BIAS Amp and BIAS FX for the long time and I like it,.....but they really didn't sound that good in the "real world", especially the new BIAS AMP2 . I play with the decent gear /good guitars, Presonus AudioBox iTwo audio interface, MacBook Pro, studio speakers Tannoy reveal 802.... Annnddd no - BIAS AMP2 didn't sound that good! It requires a lot of work to come out with good tone. It's too quiet on my opinion, compared with old version and to other VST Plugins as TH3 and others.

Dynamic range on this is good, but in comparison to the Neural DSP amp plugins it sounds too compressed and digital. I've been using Bias 4 years and i've been a big fan of it, but now it''s the NTS Suite all day everyday.

🤷🏾‍♂️If I buy bias amp 2, I don’t need to buy the 1st version of bias amp? I thought it only additional sounds and not the old sounds + additional sounds.

I have horrible latency with it

I decided to watch this video to support Tom, despite my distaste for amp modelers, and I have to say that I find the tones downright repugnant. I will watch the other two videos for the same reason, but I am already confident that I still am not interested in Bias—which makes me feel better about the lack of features I had hoped would be added in Bias 2.

I don't own a ipad yet, but I take it that your new upgrade Ipad is just the regular ipad and not the ipad pro? I would love to get back into guitar but would love to practice and possibly record a lttle bit with the ipad. I have to decide if the regular ipad with 2 gig of ram will be ok or go with the ipad pro.10.5. thanx for a great video, and as always your playing.

Did you have a compressor engaged? Sounds like the attack is being compressed somewhat.

Ive been playing and studying music and guitar for 30 years. I don't listen to guitar players much anymore but when I do, I listen to Tom Quayle.

How’s the latency? I have an iPad Air 2 and I can’t stand the latency using Bias. I bought and deleted it in minutes.

can you take the tonecloud presets off the Ipad app and use them with the PC desktop version

Great demo here Tom. I too have this including the Blues Pack and Glassy Pack. I don't have the Celestion stuff yet but plan this for the future. Do you have any tones in the Tonecloud minus the Celestion cabs?
