All the comparisons between ICE and EV motors in this video are wrong and making such invalid claims is extremely unprofessional. No real scientist would ever make such claims.

Wondering, how to move lith between met ox and grapyte layer. The thing that exists is that it is not sustainable. Once it has been used it must be refilled, namely charged, plugged into an electricity source (home electricity, charging in the parking lot,...). It is not possible for every unit, for example a conventional petrol or diesel car that is driven, to be recharged like an "ampere dynamo" recharges the battery I.e accu. The law of the conservation of energy ."the rendemen".

why does the electrons pass through the cathode side of the battery, shouldn't it go from anode to cathode?

The only problem with the animation is that it represents the electrolyte as the separator, which is not the case.

So, what you’re saying is that the fundamental chemistry of any battery has not changed in more than 200 years. There has been some nibbling at the edges of efficiency but no fundamental change. The EV superiority seems to be the induction motor. These motors, are indeed, powerful as witnessed by modern locomotives whose large induction motors are powered by large diesel engines carried on board. One begins to think that EVs are a dead end technology barring some leap in the chemistry.

I think the future of lithium-ion batteries appears even more promising. With ongoing research and development, these batteries are expected to become more efficient, affordable, and environmentally friendly. There might even be battery limiters for EVs in the future. Tesla's investment in Gigafactories and advancements in battery chemistry suggest a continued trajectory of improvement in lithium-ion technology. Can electric vehicles eventually surpass internal combustion engine vehicles in terms of market share? Only time can tell.

What a load of hype, try researching PFAS chemicals in modern LI-Ion batteries and how they pollute the environment forever. would leave links for info but Y.T. will disallow public viewing of the statement. Even mentioning the chemical group or it's specific name will result in the same action.

Lithium ion batteries work on the principle of electrochemical potential- (the tendency of a metal to lose electron) which lithium has the highest. The lithium ion batteries used in induction motor ( which is an advancement over and alternative to "internal combustion" engine), are critical to our transition to electric mobility and renewable and clean energy. It's helpful to reduce use of fossil fuels , and therby reduce climate change.. This is all wanted to know and , is helpful for me to write in exam to score good marks.. Thanks..

Ironically, the greatest minds in electrical field theory, Tesla and Steinmetz didn’t believe in electrons as particles. And if you examine some of the so-called theories closely, you can understand why.

The premise at the beginning of this video is wrong: ICE are far superior to IE because the fuel is far superior. Gasoline has a high energy content that is as dense as possible in liquid form, hard to set on fire, and reduces weight as consumed. Li-Ion batteries must have a solid matrix that can not be as dense as gasoline because they keep the electrons separate so they do not discharge, meaning there is a real limit to how much power will ever be possible to put in a batter. In addition, Li-Ion batteries have reduced capacity over time, no capacity at all in lower temperatures, are toxic after 10 years (when no longer having a useful life), and always weigh the same meaning you have reduced range over time compared to an ICE engine... or they explode too, so there's that.

Still... The energy density of gasoline is 12 kWh/kg of fuel mass. Assuming 30% efficiency of IC gasoline engine gives 3,6kWh/kg usable energy in the form of torque on the wheels. Even with 100% efficiency of EV today we have density about 0,12 kWh/kg of Li-Ion battery mass. 50 liters of gasoline (approx 35 kg) gives 126 kWh and about 800 km of range (with modern IC engines consumption about 6 l/100km ). With LI-ion .... you need a battery with mass about 1000 kg to mach this range.
