This Brooklyn-based duo features two free-thinking spirits from São Paulo and Germany who grew up 6000 miles apart. Yet, New York brought them together to synergize their musical backgrounds and aesthetic predilections. This rendition of Wayne Shorter's famous composition "El Gaucho" provides an insight into the repertoire that they love and cherish while revealing a duo sound that is rooted in Brazilian music, classical harmony, and jazz improvisation. Blending Timo’s warm tenor saxophone with the tasteful virtuosity of Vinícius on the nylon guitar, this duo's sound is as delicate as it is intimate.
