New subscriber here, after watching several of these Simpson episodes, I really believe that Marcia Clark and her team utterly blew it here. To not allow or to dismiss key evidence from Tom Lange or these key Witnesses from testifying is just malpractice. And she's made a career post Simpson out of all this nonsense. This really discredits her in my mind and I didn't have her on a pedestal but I certainly did respect her. Not anymore.

Why didn’t they just test the DNA in the inside of the gloves ?? If his DNA was in either one of the gloves he woulda been guilty since he claimed he never had the gloves ??? They dropped the ball on purpose to try to start a race war..

30 years ago I was a stay at home mom wrapped up in the court tv drama as the hearing took place. Now I have a grandbaby and I still can’t get enough

What angered me is the dna evidence that was ignored by the jury. Common sense Nicole's dna would be in. His bronco but we are talking blood. Ron Goldman blood ,his dna in the bronco and on his socks? Common! The jury should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

So basically the 2 best wittnesses didn't have the brain power to not talk to the defense or the media smh. I feel bad for Marsha. They clearly don't understand courtroom dynamics. Sadly, some of the wittnesses and Nicole's "friends"failed her. Hopefully they learned from this.

I was 11 years old during the OJ Trial, I didn't know who OJ was in 1994, but the trial was interesting I was so caught up in it. Now 30 years later at 42, I am still fascinated by it.

Mr. Park now says when he went to the Rockingham gate there was no Bronco there. That is in conflict to what he testified to. Maria Clark specifically asked him if he noticed if the Bronco was there or not. Mr. Park stated he didn’t know and he wasn’t looking to see if the Bronco was there or not. Marcia Clark tried repeatedly to get him to say there was no Bronco. Mr. Park stated he didn’t know and was not paying attention to see if any cars were there or not.

This lady’s story is such a lie. She has said she was at home at 10:45 pm and ran into “OJ” at 10:50 pm. If OJ is in his car leaving the scene at 10:50 pm that is in conflict with Kato’s statement saying he heard 3 knocks on his wall at 10:45 pm. The limo driver said he saw a dark figure at 10:50 pm. Both stories are in conflict with this lady’s story. Furthermore she said she called the police the next morning which would have been June 13th, Monday morning. The truth is, she called the police on Tuesday June 14th. By this time the story was all over the media. Why would someone report a drunk driver on Tuesday June 14th, for something that happened on Sunday June 12th? Then she tried to sell her story.

I find it hard to believe that he would cause such a traffic scene after the murders - this was probably on his way to go stalk / confront her - his agent said that he told him that if she didn't open the door with a knife, she'd still be alive - he might've been pissed and going over there without the direct intention of murder

30 years ago....I was bottle feeding my month old Daughter & I saw the news! It was devastating ! 💔

They weren't just brutally butchered in the most horrendous way and with no justification at all, but no-one has ever been found guilty of those murders.
I personally believe (despite having no direct evidence) that the Californian Police were directed by the State Government to sabotage the case and render the chance of a conviction to be next to nothing. There were many efforts made to this end. The main goal was to preserve public order. This case came off the back of the 1992 LA Riots - and after 3.5 years much of it had been rebuilt so every effort was made to not have it all get burned down again, losing all that reconstruction. The things that I believe the State directed Police and the Justice system to do to lessen the chance of conviction were:

- Allow a jury of eight blacks and six black women (the least likely to convict a black man), two mixed race, a Hispanic and one white. That would make a conviction almost impossible.
- Contaminate blood samples with EDTA to raise doubts about whether evidence had been planted by police (which it wasn't, other than what they were directed to do)
- Allow a huge amount of testimony, cross-examination and discussion about Detective Mark Fuhrmann, to put a face on the alleged racism by police toward the black community
- Make it look like the gloves didn't fit by telling OJ to wear latex gloves under them
- Suppressing the revelation of published photos of OJ wearing the Bruno Maglis and Aris Isotoner gloves until after the verdict
- Putting no effort into finding the real killers
- Allowing courtroom speculation about drug killings by the defence (the Columbian Necktie theory)
- Disallowing Jilll Shively and Skip Kunis' testimony (for no decent reason) but allowing Allan Park, who witnessed much less incriminating behaviour by OJ
- Appointing weak prosecutors and dismissing Bill Hodgman on weak medical grounds which were likely concocted

Simpson always said that he had dedicated his life to finding the killers of Ron and Nicole. Hmmmmmm.

IF this case hadn't revolved around O.J. Simpson, but if the suspect say had been Joe Smith who nobody ever heard of, there never even would have been a trial. A Joe Smith would have just been found guilty by a judge and locked up and the key thrown away! Even if Simpson had been seen on security cameras committing the murders, the jury still wouldn't have bought it. The jury would have argued that the tape on the security cameras was a fixed/forged tape set up to frame Simpson. Even if Simpson had admitted the murder of his wife in court, the jury would have denied it. The jury didn't want to believe their football star was a killer.

Tom Lange always reminds me of Robert Duvall.

WHY has this case fascinated the public for decades?? 1. The world got to see a real murder case and not an episode of Baretta. 2. A rare case of a big sports/tv star on trial for murder. 3. Justice was not done in the case. 4. The world got to see what goes behind the scenes in law enforcement.
