We have reached a new low in our society. I just saw a news report about a HS wrestler whose high school is over (he was #1 in his state) bc he jumped off the bench & attacked a man arguing with his dad in the stands. They’re suing of course. Children need to learn to lose and do it gracefully. They don’t have to ever like it but need to realize you can’t always be #1 and use that to try harder. This father needs some time in jail away from this child if he’s going to stand a chance in the world.

30 years in prison for attempted murder and file a $70,000 lawsuits agsint the dad, if he doesnt pay take his house.

That should be an automatic 20 year sentence

Having grown up in Virginia playing soccer this really disappoints me. That man was out coaching to be of service to the kids and community. To treat him like that no matter how crappy of a job you think he is doing is criminal. If you have a problem with the way things are going in the game take your kid and leave. Don’t beat up a volunteer and catch charges because your ego can’t handle seeing your child loose.

Please do a follow up on this story! From what I read, the Dad has already been in prison for shooting a guy (only served 4 years, on a 10 sentence) Dad is a threat to the general public, and I imagine he’s brutal to his family, with that kind of temper. The guy needs to go back to prison for a long long time!
