I'm kinda new to all those effects and stuff and I'm kinda confused what exactly an octave pedal does. Does it play two of the same notes with different octaves at the same time or just drops the note below one octave ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьUsing an octave pedal and a chorus makes synth bass much more fun. If you want some real synthy tones slap on a fuzz just like Ian's ovedrive and then your really cooking
ОтветитьJust learnt about the Pedal not long ago
ОтветитьI've got a Pog 2 , yeah you can get a synth vibe or even church organ going
ОтветитьTHERE IS NO BASS IN POP MUSIC
Ответитьthe drive is after o before chorus?
ОтветитьScott, I've been following your channel for 3o r 4 yrs. Great Work. I'd like to get some pedals for my bass.
ОтветитьI need an octave pedal now!
ОтветитьIt's great founding new sounds.
ОтветитьSynthesis is almost always subtractive and bass sounds usually start with saw, pulse and triangle waves which can be gotten with different types of distortion. If you distort the shit out of your bass and then use filtering after (low pass) then you will get great results compared to just distorting without filtering.
Ответитьgreat video...nice headless bass.. love to see ye do a video on headless basses...❤ from ireland
ОтветитьChorus after the drive?
Ответить🤘👽
ОтветитьWow thanks for this. I'll try it with my zoom ms60b 😁
ОтветитьI use a Foxrox Octron 3 to get an octave below and an octave (that is naturally distorted) above. This feeds into a chorus and phaser, then through a Sansamp and an ampeg pre-amp topped off with heavy compression last in the pedal chain. Can make it sound very close to a Moog bass synth which I sometimes play instead.
ОтветитьMy wife is asking what song this is? 😂
Ответитьvery helpful; thank you sir.
ОтветитьDudeee !!!
ОтветитьAwesome!!!👏
