Brilliant video GT. Thanks I loved it. Incredible playing so inspiring. ⭐⭐
ОтветитьThank you Guthrie your lessons always teach and inspire me!
Really enjoy your channel!
So glad we made it to the show last night! You three are incredible!
ОтветитьThanks for answering my question
ОтветитьI’m playing the “D” shape wrong. These chord inversions open up so much possibility and so many things to learn. Here’s a warning for Guthrie. I am saving up for a Nashville vacation and guitar lesson lol!
ОтветитьThanks Guthrie.
ОтветитьThank you man. Been searching for this for over 30 years. Beautiful.
ОтветитьReminded me of metheney 😊
ОтветитьI took a bunch of those lessons, Guthrie but this one just laid it out perfect even though I knew it there was small things that just made sense the way you described it in that video I’ll never forget it. I got a long ways to go and I’ve already traveled 1,000,000 miles studying. Thank you for all your help.
ОтветитьIf you say "There's a G, there's a G, there's a G" really fast, it sounds like Therapy....which isn't incorrect.
ОтветитьMan I wished I was taught this way when I first started playing.... I was pretty much shown power chords open chords and pentatonics... also the last 2 videos opened something up for me... thanks hometeam!
ОтветитьEnjoyed the lesson. Appreciate you sharing your time and talent.
ОтветитьIm so totally new to guitar- and dream of being at your level. I bought my 1st fender strat, came in the mail yesterday. I got a great amp and a great guitar... and Im so lost in the sauce, clueless.. I know ZERO,NADA! WHATS MY FIRST THING?
I HAVE NO CLUE
BUT I GOT TIME AND DRIVE- BE MY TEACHER!I JUST SUBBED
I've learned so much from you. Thanks for all the inspiration. 🙏🏽
ОтветитьI stopped 2 mins in and made a 30 min practice routine to start on already 😂 - looking forward to coming back to this and doing that again and again ...and again
ОтветитьThanks GT! I’ve learned a ton and it’s good to know you.
ОтветитьJordan and Tim are phenomenal in every sense of that word. Magical stuff, GT!! You guys have redefined the way I understand music by orders of magnitude.
ОтветитьThanks! Getting so much good stuff out of these.
ОтветитьThis was the nest intro jam I’ve ever heard GT do. I have so many questions lol….
ОтветитьWhat a great player
ОтветитьAre you serious?!?
The 2nd riffing is sooo sick! Can't believe it, really! Maaan... :)
Please keep on doing lessons!!! My students are so amazed, so am I stunned and jealous a ton. ;)
Greetings from Germany
Quirin
OH ma its starting to make sense!!!!! now I just gotta play it!!!! THANKS
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьUnderdog pro tip: Try the Dot’s pretzels! It’s crack!
ОтветитьI can't encourage everyone enough to buy Guthrie's TrueFire courses, just taking the time to learn one of his songs will blow the bloody doors off!!
ОтветитьOMG! GT, more o' rhat 6-string goodness!
The stuff you played opening today's video was really awesome!
I can only hope that I'll be able to play that well someday!
I always wanna watch your hands so i can learn technique...but it's hard!
Cuz I just wanna close my eyes and listen to that 6-string goodness.
I guess it doesn't matter, because your damn hands are movin' too fast to watch 'em anyway....
I'd sure love to come and listen to 'the trio' some Monday eve! Can't wait.
Keep this shit comin' dude! It's great!
Love the lesson, it means so much! Just listenin' to ya play is great. 👍👍👍
BTW: You're right! I DO know who i am!
Thanks, GT.
Pure Gold...
Thank you for the tutorial, Sir!
You really changed my mind/playing...
Maybe one day I will get that epiphany...🤯🤯🤯
Sick , You know so much about music.
ОтветитьCame to learn how to connect pentatonics to chord shapes and 40 seconds in I threw all my guitars away and became a monk. 😂 I kid, I kid, thank you for reminding me how far I have yet to go, while sharing tips to keep me climbing
ОтветитьHey GT great lesson as usual. Do you have any advice or warm up routines to keep your fretting hand and fingers "healthy"? I do notice you have a pretty long stretch.
ОтветитьThis dude Guthrie is an absolute goat 🐐 👊🏾🙌🏽
ОтветитьThanks, Guthrie!! Very clearly explained. Valuable knowledge. At this point, I have about 90% of the fretboard connected under my fingers, thanks in large part to you.
ОтветитьYou really are a very accomplished and talented guitarist.Would I'd be possible for your intros to be streamlined a little.Maybe explain what your doing and why you diung. I certainly have no credibility to talk down to anybody but I'd like to hear more from you about tips navigating the fretboard.Either way,I'm still a fan👍
ОтветитьCome to Jupiter, Florida Guthrie. Bring the trio to the Square Grouper or Tiki 52.
ОтветитьEveryone just needs to go onto Google, type in 'CAGED' for guitar, and then click on 'images' and it's all right there for you.
ОтветитьMan!! Your opening improvs on all of these lessons are simply amazing. So inspirational. Blows me away.
ОтветитьIs the old black Gibson L-00 still in your arsenal?
ОтветитьAlways epiphany self laughing at your good humour GT
Thanks again 🤣
Shit Shit... you are human
ОтветитьI've got a question about arpeggios. I think I understand that it is a chord but played as single notes. How come when you are doing the G bar chord it looks like you hit some notes on the second fret? Shouldn't everything be between the 3rd and 5th fret? Thanks for your channel.
ОтветитьHi Guthrie, Can you please explain a little more on why the full D shape barre doesn't work and you don't fret the first string?
ОтветитьBanging my head with 'The GT Revolator' and it's all coming together......The rain has gone
Many thanks Guthrie
Can't tell you how helpful these vids are, especially as a bass player diving over into the dark side. Many thanks Guthrie.
ОтветитьGreat intro. I've been listening to In Stereo and can hear some similarities. I love that album; it's great to listen to on my morning walk. I'm seeing it. I'm just trying to get the fingers, right and left hands, to believe it, lol! Peace, I love your insights.
ОтветитьEverytime i catch one of your vids i hear so much growth when it comes to other musical styles. It's such a pleasure.
Ответитьthat was cool . thnx
ОтветитьJesus. That’s moving in so many ways. Thank you.
Ответитьthe Trio is so cool man... loving it
