You didn't get any money back cause it's a Residential Rental Lot and it's super bugged. Probably won't be fixed 100% ever. I wish there was a For Rent equivalent to Dine Out Reloaded that Carl made. Carl made the Dine Out Reloaded and practically fixed Dine Out because of it. I wouldn't even be surprised if sales on Dine Out for PC went up because of that mod existing

I think it could be fun to have either Lia or Thorn be the heir. And this could be a option, maybe when your off the grid save sim ages up to a young adult you could add Haye to that save and maybe have them date in that save? or at least be friends/neighbours.

I don't know Thorn enough yet to be on his team. And since we already have the off the grid challenge, it would be two farm legacies at once. So not Haye either. I'm definitely voting for Lia, we need some girl power in this next legacy and I loveeee her romance the Beatrice!!!! Team Lia for sure!

honestly i think lia would be an interesting heir. we already have a farm series, but we havent had a lawyer heir. and her traits are much more entertaining

hi kayla, what if lia becomes the heir, but hay moves out creates a business about growing and selling food, etc... then, the throne is old enough to move out to work with his brother and create a floristry alongside his brother's business? i like lia or thorne being the heir and living together in a florist / lawyer small business or something to that effect! maybe lia could do some tattooing on the side or just help thorne with his business ! plus i think we all love the idea of having a single mother so maybe thorne could help out with any babies in case you're worried about trying to do a single mother playthrough. and of course ship haye off to marry kale!!!

Even though I disagree, everybody in the comments does want Lia as the heir. Thorn would be my pick, now that Hay is too old for Kale. But if the community is to be heard, then Lia is the one. I'll eventually watch the series anyway, even if Lia is chosen, so I don't even care that much anymore 😂

I think Lia being heir, and having a romantic story line of being bi and she ends up with the nerdy/gamer boyfriend who turns stay at home dad is like cute. She can have Throne live with her and do his little florist passion while shes the main breadwinner. At least until hes an adult and can move out. I just think thats cute

I think Lia has a lot of potential to grow into herself and evolve as life progresses. Even though i love Throne, we did just have a life&death/grim reaper story line. And no, Throne wouldn’t be exactly the same, but Lia would change it up more.

About the MCCC help with the ghosts fading, if I'm not mistaken you go into MCCC menu, go to MC Cleaner, Neighborhood Cleaner, and there you'll find the "Bypass Family Ghosts" option. Make sure that's enabled and it should prevent the game from deleting any ghost on your family tree when the sim population gets too high.

If you want to preserve a sim ghost NOT on your family tree you'll need to click that sim in your relationship tab, click MC Command Center, scroll down to Sim Flags, click the MC Command Center option at the top, and choose "Flag To Never Delete" and that ghost will also be preserved when the game culls excess sims.

I am wholly uninterested in having another farmer heir. Especially since you have the off the grid series going. Haye is welcome to join that save but I wouldn’t find another farmer interesting.

I think Lia would be by far the most fun option because it would be a big change from the last several heirs.

Thorne is so cute and I wouldn’t be mad if it was him, but since we’ve been using the life and death stuff for this last generation, I think a pivot with Lia is more fun. But Thorne is v cute and I’d love to see him set up as a florist even if he isn’t the main heir. Maybe he and Lia could live together for a bit as young adults.
