I cannot look at a C6 with a stock steering wheel. Upgrading that steering wheel makes it a better car. The stock C6 steering wheel is horrendous.

Got mine custom from vivid racing. Looks and feels incredible. Like a true sports car

1. Corvettes are that special thats why people do that. 2. Interior on these are good. What more do you really need? The interior bashing is over used and little unfair. My red/black interior with grand sport stitched into the head rest would like to talk. Lol

Do Not put wheel spacers on that GS. Are you nuts? The rear set of the C6 GS is perfect the way it is IMO.

My 07 gt500 shifts like butter after I switched fluid out to Mobil 1 full synthetic atf it has an mgw and an rst clutch. I've heard you complain about the shifting or overall feel in your Shelby that Def has not been my experience. Mine used to be notchy and hard to shift ecsp when cold but once I changed fluid it's been fine. As far as aggressive driving I've always been able to snatch gears with the quickness with no issues it's a beast of a trans and feels great so not sure what the issue was with yours.

As for your vette I like the c6 I would get one with an ls3 and do cam springs and boost with a 6060 of course if I ever went the vette route. Very cool cars. 😎

I love mine, but it is a modded street beast. If you don't plan on doing anything to it, the one mod I would still recommend would be an MGW shifter... very easy to do, and changes the whole feel of driving a stick in this car. As many have said, it's the shifter it should've come with, and you'll understand why once you use it.

Can you show what kind of mpg’s your getting? Like cruising between 70-75 and what’s your average mpg with mixed city/highway driving is? I wanted to see what the difference is between the base c6 and the widebody c6 grand sport.

I would only do a K&n filter replacement that fits the stock box 👍🏁

I added a Double din BT radio the factory one is terrible and front and back cameras that’s about all I needed

Ive owned 2 blazers, and 4 3rd gen Fbodys, a cavalier and now my silverado.
The silverado is the only one that didnt have a cracked dash. When i think of quality interior GM doesn't cross my mind first.

Bro, it may not be rare but it is special. The public thinks so. Everything is relative. I'd much rather pull up in a Corvette anywhere than a Lambo and if that makes me weird who cares.

It being yellow definitely helps plus it has all the benefits of the Z06 such as the wider body and none of the drawbacks (dropped valves). I always liked the styling of the GS it would certainly grab my attention if sitting in a parking lot, but I am a Corvette guy. 😁

I have done all the modifying things in the past and learned if you want a faster car, just sell it and buy one, mods never really work they always put something out of balance ending in a compromise.

Yo! What happen to the Ford Mustang?! 😢 Yes. Don't do anything else to the Vette. It's perfectly fine the way it is. It's yellow too. The look and brand of it is on point. It's okay not add all that supercharge stuff. If I were to own one like this I would keep it as factory as possible. 🚗

Added a Apple play pioneer stereo …back up camera ..front camera to my 2013 GS…really nice!!

Keeping it stock is wise. Mods never increase reliability. Own a 2009 base and find the LS3 engine more than adequate for driving on our Pennsylvania public roads. Push the magic button on the console to experience different driving modes before modding. May find that doing that minimizes the desire for performance mods. Stock Corvettes are far easier to sell than modded ones. Less issues too. Enjoy!

I completely agree, when I owned my mustang I always had to modify something to be satisfied but I’ve owned my c6 for about a week and I love everything about it it’s absolutely perfect to me 🤝🤝

I agree, once a week is just enough👍🏽 plus you keep the miles down, I want to enjoy the car slowly for a very long time instead of all the time for a short time

Yes they are awesome for sure I myself have a 2011 GS 3lt manual Crystal Red metallic and yes they attract a lot of attention because they're awesome and don't put wheel spacers on it that was that's not good but yes enjoy it don't screw it up and get used to the attention it's part of the deal when you own one of those cars specially if it's nice mine's beautiful even though it's a 2011 it's only got 30,000 mi on it and looks brand new enjoy yourself.

Italian made top model Maserati's have outrageously beautiful interiors but I don't drive my built vets for the interior.
