the f-14 took 3 days and the A4 tooh 2 however i stoped one or two weeks betwen them! i took time on this one

Now I want to watch Top Gun for some reason.... Great build on a movie theme I have seen too many times. Tomcats are one of my favorite planes. By the way, you were below the hard deck.... did not count.

but i was only below for a few secs.. it was safe i took the shot and then i proceded imediatly above the minimum deck!:)

Excellent build! Great subject from a great film! One small issue though, the intake decals on the F-14 are backwards, no biggie though, I've built many Tomcat models over the years, just thought I'd mention it. Superb work!

It they had left out some scenes they movie would have 10 times better.

Hollywood Liberal Ignorance. A-4's are not "faster". Misinterpretation of what they were told. Typical Tom Cruise movie...fraught with errors and cliches.

I must admit, I like the execution of this diorama. I also have to give props to you for putting this together and sharing it despite the imperfections. This is precisely the inspiration I need for some of the projects I have in mind. I'm not big on aircraft models, but I have a few of my favorites from the Ace Combat series of games. Also have a WW2 dio in mind based off a short CG film and a Blue Angels tribute to my late mother. I know I'm late to the party, but I hope you keep trucking on!
