After selling my MacBook Air 2017 my Surface go, (8GB model) is now my main computer, for home that is. For work I was issued a Surface Book, which I actually got to hand pick, so no complaints there.

Good evening. I have a problem with Surface go 2. It has worked well. My surface charger does't work. I do not know the reason. Then I charge it with Type-C cable. After that it works slowly again and again. It doesn't work properly. One day My surface turn off suddenly and it doesn't turn on. It is charging with New Charger . But it doesn't turn on . What I should do in order to turn it on? Please help me!

Hello, I am searching a way to open it with fingerprint reader. Anything for the Surface go (1 or 2) ? All I have seen is usb (not C...) devices or one bluetooth one but not sure it works with the surface go.

Surface go is bad imo. It lags to so many things, the pen doesn't work that well, and even edge lags it.

I am typing using my Microsoft Surface Go now. I just wanted to say... Its a great laptop, except for two things:
1. If you want to run any programs, the computer gets really slow and buffers really bad. Its pretty much only useful for Microsoft Word and googling. Sometimes only a few google chrome tabs overwhelm the laptop, so its really not the greatest.
2. Probably the most aggravating thing about this laptop is typing. I will be writing an essay and the palm of my left hand presses down on the keyboard (not even on any buttons! just directly to the left of the mouse pad) and all of a sudden it highlights a paragraph and deletes it. It messes up my writing a LOT, especially when "undo" doesn't only undo what they keyboard messed up, but also undo's all of what you had typed.

Otherwise, its not bad. But I really don't recommend it....

I think its more of a device for students who don’t need a load of features and are just using for not taking and research i was going to buy one but i decided to buy an iPad Pro instead

It has one simple advantage over a Chromebook. It's a glorified Chromebook that can run legacy x86 apps in a pinch, that's crucial for work.

Is this still worth in 2023? Planning to buy the refurbish one 😁
