Unfortunately this is what we have to do to explain disability.
I have CVS, extreme breathing difficulties and depression caused by my CVS. It took me 18 years to get disability benefits. DLA years ago and now it’s PIP.
Would love to work? hell yes! Am I able to? absolutely not!
I was shocked when I eventually was accepted but I got lower on mobility only. They failed to take everything into account and gave me 0 points for most of my issues.
I called them out then I got higher on both which was what they should have done in the first place.
It’s a flawed system, unfortunately there are so many people trying to claim this without reason that the real disabled people are having to wait an exuberant amount of time to receive an acceptance.

I was ament to recieve a decision on on my mandatory request to have my claim looked at after being stopped but they have failed to come up with a result by the date that I was messaged, reason being a back log of claims waiting a decision. How is this possible and what do I do? Its put me into a really bad spot in my lifestyle and mentally.

I had a bad accident last year and damaged the circulation in my leg. I can barely walk and have to take taxis everywhere. I was awarded the standard daily living but NOTHING for mobility. Yet my friend who applied for mental health has been awarded for mobility.....not fit for purpose

I got screwed out of mobility help, I got asked how far I can walk so I said pain free about 20 meters which reduces to 10 to 20 feet as the pain rises then I have to stop. I told them to get to my partners home it takes me around 1 to 1 and a half hours with repeated stopping, this is a distance that takes a healthy person 20 minutes. I got refused mobility help and they gave 0 points stating that I am able to walk for an hour, they blatantly twisted the truth. This is with having hip arthritis, peripheral arterial disease with a blocked artery and asthma. Now I have to deal with them again because of a diagnosis of severe arthritis in my dominant hand. They also said that as I drive I have no problem using the pedals and controls.

The assessors lie about everything you do and say. No matter what you say or do.

The assessor is not there to help you.

There should be an inquiry into the bonus the assessors get its got to be a conflict of interest,

Today i had a 2nd pip assessment over the phone to get more information, it was about 2.30pm and lasted about 25 miniures, after it ended i turned off my phone to get some peace and chill out a bit, i put some music on, then banging on my door and i could hear shouting and radios, it was two paramedics, telling me i had been calling my GP threatening to kill myself, we never talked about low mood at all in the 2nd assesment and in the 1st i never said at anytime i was thinking of doing anything, all they asked me is if i'd ever had any suicidal thoughts, it was pretty embarressing, what my neighbours must think i dunno, i've no idea what the assessor has said to my GP sugery for this to happen, i was shocked, shaken and embarressed...They left and about 30 minutes later they were back banging on my door, this time with a member of the Crisis team on loudspeaker wanting to know why i had been calling my GP threatenin suicide when i had not, last time i called me GP was too book a nure app for a vitamin enjection...crazy...i have no record at my GP practice of suicide or threatening to do so, just some depression associated with long tern illness. Crazy!!!

I know someone that claims pip money, around £300 per month. She also works full time and lives full active life despite some athiritus.

She uses the pip money to go to pub, put petrol in her car and go on lunch dates.

I don’t understand how this money is helping her actual disability.

She doesn’t care about eating healthy or working out or doing anything to her her condition. She’s 20 stone and is eating takeout and going down the pub.

Maybe this why the DWP are so harsh as most pip claimants are using the money to chill out on

Takes threat months to get help us that fair b us When you're in hospital they don't answer it because they know there's many questions and training on is. I never see any assess happening just direct it is not part of the decision somebody else makes the decision.

They want to see how you reeact to being called fat. Everyone asks itif you're not in control you make mire mistakes..

Hi! I have my assessment tomorrow. I have forgotten what I have written I have bad memory. Will they think I’m lying if my answers don’t match up word for word 😭

I applied for PIP over 12 months ago due to a C4, C5 and C6 compression in my neck which trapped/ damageded nerves in my neck. This condition has left both arms virtually paralysed. My application failed despite a detailed report from the surgeon.
It eventually went to a tribunal which i couldnt attend due to the travel cost and distance and they accepted the fact i have an unchangable condition but denied me the claim. The video call from PIP lasted less than a minute yet they stated i could lift my arms above my head. This was a complete fabrication, a lie. I am 64 years old worked all my life paying my dues, never been unemployed. I lost my HGV license through my condition. I have a mortgage still to pay and i only receive ESA.
Is there anyone out there that can help my to gain what surely i am entitled to.

Pip took away points even tho my condition had dramatically got worse, been scared to contact them again incase I lose it.

Had mine today. Over 2 hours. The male interrogator kept asking me questions about how i put on my underwear and how i wipe my arse. UK 2024 these scum have no shame. Despicable.

They really like to lie, been up against it and I KNOW they will lie on my next assessment,

They should not ask questions on something that nothing to do with your health conditions
If they want to know they should and take noteis to what your GP and the hospital
They don't go by that
They are not qualified doctor
They are only 3rd party doctor
This was said by the jobcentre
They are only there to stop you getting PIP or anything
I always say In the form you get in contact with my doctor and the hospital
To which they don't do

They lied on the 2 tribunals went though a few years ago .I'm dreading it if I had go again . they should not be allowed to get away with it .

Glad I found you I found your video so helpful I’ve tried twice already with in the last ten years my 3 rd time is this Thursday over the phone , I suffer from arthritis in every joint also gout in hand feet and knees , I have 3 buling discs alwaell as neave damage ,I’ve stuffed with depression manic depression and anxiety , so hopefully I get awarded this time

Glad i came across your channel, i applied for pip ,been going through cancer ,got diagnosed with aggressive form of cancer ,so had high does targeted chemotherapy, now on inhibitors ,treatment ongoing for last 2 years ,which has left me with bad bone pain ,Arthritis, memory loss depression and Anxiety, i tried to explain the best i could to lady on phone i did tell her about the bad Anxiety im suffering from and im going for counselling, Received my pip letter and they have turned me down, couldn't believe it ,was 2 points off the reward, there's no mention off my mental health issues, so i want the report she done sent to me ,can i request this ? Im going to appeal against this ,if i get secondary cancer it could end my life ,no way im doing chemo again, i think they are a disgrace what they are putting genuine people through, i find it hard to explain what its done to me 😢

I've recently had a PIP interrogation, have got the report, as filed a complaint, due to false statements made by assessor. When I asked for the recording they said we don't automatically record the calls, all we have is the report and that you have to request for recording before the assessment. Is this true?

When they call you record the call and make them aware of it and it can legally be used as evidence against them to prove they lie

in the uk it is illegal for any company, be it business or government body to record you when on the telephone without first telling you that this is going to be done, giving you an opportunity to continue or to close the call. This is not the same if an individual wishes to record a company. you do not need their permission and so do not need to inform them. if you are using a smartphone it is quite simple. there are plenty of APPS that allow you to do this.

Hi you wonderful pair, I just want to tell you . . . I was cut off today, after 2 minutes of the beginning of my assessment for ESA! The 'nurse' cut off the call after I told her I was going to record the assessment. She said 'you aren't allowed to record without first letting us know'. I said, 'I know my rights, and have followed procedure, and I am allowed to record '. She cut me off and ended the assessment. I had previously rang CHDA to tell them I was going to record and they told me I couldn't. They gave me the number of the assessment centre and told me to tell them. I rang the assessment centre, they told me I couldn't record. I said 'I'm allowed to buy law if I let you know in advance. She cut me off! I followed it up by ringing and ensuring that everything said was documented, she cut me off! . . . . This is the transparency and honesty of the institutions that are supposed to support us!
